We put it off for years, but it had to be done; my husband and I were both waking up multiples time throughout any given night to shift and alleviate sore shoulders, knees, hips, neck, back, you name it, if you laid on it too long, it hurt.
We read about about just about every mattress type and material known to man. We checked out various "mattress in a box" options, but how in the world do you know which one to choose if you can't even touch it, first? My husband suggested a few local mattress stores and this was one of them, and of the three we looked into, this one had the best reviews on top of a very competitive selection of in-store mattresses to investigate. We checked the website, called to set up a time to go, and the rest is history.
We worked with Josh, who was very professional, friendly, informative, and easy to work with. We went over the details of size, sleep habits, and use, as well as issues being caused by old mattress. Josh set us up on their bedMATCH diagnostic system, and a few minutes later he had a list of mattresses that would fit our needs and it was off to see how they actually worked and felt. It was very nice, very efficient, and when you lay on the right one, you'll know it! So yes, we purchased our mattress that night; very easy, very reasonable financing options available. Two days later, it was in our home and we've been sleeping quite happily on it for several weeks (and we are definitely NOT taking it back!).
In-store, everybody worse a mask, social distancing was maintained and disposable covers were provided to place on the mattresses/pillows you tested. We were the only people in the place other than Josh, so from a pandemic health and safety stand-point, it was an excellent experience. On the delivery end, also good marks; delivery personnel also stayed masked and maintained distancing. They removed old mattress and box spring, and installed the new. It was quick. The only ding not worth removing a star was that the easiest route for them to travel did involve an area that was a little muddy from recent rains, which was tracked through the house (no shoe covers were used), so we did have some cleanup to do once they were done. Carrying and using shoe covers or a track mat would have been, but all things considered, perfectly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just canceled my order from Mattress Warehouse due to their despicable (non) delivery service. I had arranged (and paid) to have two box springs and two frames delivered to my house. I was given a window of between 1:30 and 4:30. My wife and I are retired so we knew we would be home and we were. At 3:30, we received a voice mail (we don't answer our phone if it is an unrecognized number) that the delivery folks were at our address at 3:30 but no one was answering the door but would wait 15 minutes before they left. There was no one at our door, in our driveway or on our street. At 3:45 I called the delivery line and was told that the deliverers had not yet arrived at our house but were still on their way and would be arriving around 4:00. I mentioned the voice mail we had received that the deliverers were at our door but she had no explanation for it. At 4:30, when still no one had shown up, I called the delivery number once again and this time I was told that the deliverers could not find my address and had called us to try to get directions. We never received any such call. The person I spoke to said that the only recourse was to set up a new delivery date. No apology was offered. In fact, she stated that since the deliverers hadn't taken a picture of our house to prove they were there, it was our word against theirs. ?!? I told her that this was not acceptable. She then casually mentioned that our only other recourse was to call the store where we made the purchase and ask for a refund. No apology, no nothing. Although we had paid to have the deliverers remove the old box springs and set up the new ones, we went ahead and did it ourselves to make the process go a little smoother. Now we have two sets of mattresses with no frames and no box springs because Mattress Warehouse deliverers apparently couldn't get their stories straight about why they were not going to deliver our order when they were supposed to. That's about as unprofessional as it gets in my book.We canceled the order and won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I decided after 35 years it was time to retire our waterbed. We walked into Mattress Warehouse and were immediately greeted by Joshua Morrison, who was completing a sale at his desk with a couple. A room full of mattresses is quite overwhelming! Josh was the only salesman this day but he was awesome how he bounced around, attending to the needs and concerns of all customers. He was so personal yet never pushy. He knew his mattresses, for sure! We appreciated his honesty and trusted his knowledge. Let me tell you, my husband said, "We aren't buying, we are just looking." Ha! Well Josh, steering us in the right direction, made this shopping experience so easy and even fun! He scheduled our new bed to be delivered in two days (We needed time to disassemble our waterbed). We were called ahead of time with an ETA and they set it up in 10 to 15 minutes! What an organized operation! My husband asked them how many beds they will deliver that...
