Prouty Pottery — Local services in Rapid City

I've had more than just 1 EXCELLENT experience with Prouty Pottery! I had seen a Mug I wanted a year or so ago but it was sold out. Not wanting to wait for a custom order, I placed an order for myself & my boyfriend! We STILL use those Gorgeous mugs EVERY DAY! They're Beautiful & SO AMAZING! My daughter has a VERY close friend who I knew would LOVE the mug I saw originally. I reached out to Prouty Pottery around X-mas through their site & heard from them shortly after. The Artist quickly understood my request, provided the documentation needed to proceed with the order & prepared me for short wait standard for custom work thru the end of February, beginning of March! I was in no hurry! Worked perfectly for me! This morning, 02/01, I realized an AMAZING box had been delivered yesterday 01/31 from Prouty Pottery. Inside was a carefully wrapped Mug! It could not have been more beautiful! BETTER THAN I EVER COULD HAVE ASKED FOR! The colors are incredible & the details are Above & Beyond! This mug is going to make the PERFECT gift! It's such a Work Of Art, it really shouldn't be used....just looked at! Even Framed! I'm SO Enamored I'm considering again purchasing one for myself as well as for srveral family members! I LOVE going to Prouty!! I take everyone I know there, too! They have a wonderfully spacious studio so no bumping tables or chairs with someone next to you. I never feel overwhelmed with noise even when it’s cram packed. I can ALWAYS find something to paint and there are always lots of paint options. The ladies that work there are just the nicest, most helpful, fabulous ladies you’ll meet. I even go to pick up pre painted, beautiful items to gift others when I don’t have time to paint my own. This has to be my favorite place to go. I go with friends, solo, bday partys. Hester and Joe are AMAZING and so personal with everyone. I love that it's locally owned and they involve other small businesses into their place. Couldn't ask for a better place to go and feel welcomed.
