When you enter, there are quite a few booths and places to sit but if you go during lunch it was pretty busy inside. We sat at a table in the back and wee handed menus to look at along with our drink choices. The waitress seemed to be really busy and kept going back and forth on who would take our order. We waited for about 10 minutes and finally our order was taken. I selected a small Pho with meatballs. Quick side note while we waited for our food, we were near the tv in the back and they were playing YouTube videos of street food being made in other countries. Would love to know what stream that was, ha! Anyways we got our food fairly quickly. The bowl contained noodles, broth, meat, and scallions and we were given a side of bean sprouts, jalapeños, lemons, and basil. Definitely recommend asking for chili oil to put in your bowl if you like a little spice and don’t be stingy in the sriracha because it definitely adds a lot of flavor. The meatballs in the broth were sliced and there were plenty of noodles in the bowl. Overall the Pho was alright and definitely hit the spot in a very cold day. I think I would try another dish but overall it was a pretty standard meal. I will say the small is definitely enough food for one during lunch. I forgot to mention for a drink I had ordered a Thai tea and that was...
Read moreDO NOT order the pho. Being of asian descent, this is the worst pho I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of pho. This tasted like the cheapest beef paste with water added and then diluted over and over for days until you taste just a bit of salt. No amount of hoisin, siracha, fish sauce on the table will fix this. No taste of real beef bones in this broth. No seasoning, no spices. This "pho" gave us diarrhea for 2 days of our vacation. My stomach never hurts like this unless I eat pho that's sat out for days. Asians, you know what I mean. SO SO disappointing. The spring rolls were also very small for $7/4. We also ordered a beef plate. It was all right. Honestly, very overpriced for the quality and amount of food. It's like, they made no effort to offer good pho at all because white people can't tell the difference anyway. lmao. On the other hand, my kid got their combo fried rice, and it was one of the best he ever had. It was bussin' bussin', he said. Pho = 0 stars (negative if I could) Combo fried...
Read moreGot the beef and shrimp pho. Both were bland (not salty). Also had shrimp spring rolls which had old lettuce and shrimp only (no cucumber or carrots or cilantro). For a place that calls itself healthy and fresh, that wasn't the case with the spring rolls. Then I asked for fish sauce and the waiter brought out some sort of home made fish sauce and a charged me an extra 54 cents for it. Really??!!!
I would not recommend this place. Buyer beware. There was a Pancheros a block away. I should have just grabbed tacos for lunch from Pancheros. :(Instead I spent $35+ for mediocre pho and spring rolls at this place. I've had much better pho in MN for $6-8 a bowl (sometimes...
