Have been here a few times before and had a very good experience but when I came in today the lady was extremely rude and wasn’t trying to listen nor UNDERSTAND what I was saying to her. She was extremely RUDE & had horrible customer service. I’ve never had issues dealing with the gentleman that’s always there. He is always so nice and pleasant. Which tells me that it’s the woman that has the issue. I believe that she is racist and has a big problem with African American people. All I asked was for a new battery and to inform her that I had batteries placed in two different watches that were two different brands at THE SAME TIME. And one battery stopped working within 1 month of having it replaced at this store and the 2nd watch is still ticking and going strong! She continued to call me a liar saying that couldn’t be. She was rude and had horrible customer service and it’s sad that it’s ONLY her that I’ve ever encountered at this business with such attitude and for that I will never return again and I have also informed my aunt to never return there again as well seeing as she’s been going to that business for years and she’s the one that recommended the business to me. I told her to also pass on to everyone else that she knows that does business at this place as well. There is no room for that type of racism to be brought upon people that are simply bringing in money to their business. The lady acted as if I came in there asking for something for free when I was simply giving her info just in case she maybe wanted to check her vendor or products that she has. I don't know whether I spoke to you or not, but it was very clear from the moment that I walked in that the person behind the glass was not happy to see me. So, I don't know if she was having a bad day or if she just doesn't like Black people. But she was extremely rude! And if this is what you consider welcoming people to your store, then I think that you have a very strange way of showing it.
A few years ago I went to Michaels Watch & Jewelry Repair to have them repair a watch that I have had for many years. It had stopped running and they were supposed to replace the spring. For this service they charged quite a lot. Because I stopped wearing most jewelry during covid, I did not realize until recently that it had stopped running again. So, with receipt in hand, I returned to Michaels to ask them to look at the watch and see what was wrong. The woman in the store was extremely rude and dismissive and assumed that I wanted something done for free. This past week there's a complete 180 degree change. So rude. I called a few times just asking if I could have a watch looked at and a possible bezel swap done on my Rolex Datejust.... it should not be a big deal. I live over an hour away. I have explicitly explained all this...... hmm I drive down there.... and the guy/ Michael left!!! What?
