Wick and Sip Candle Lounge — Local services in Richmond

10/10 would recommend! I have been wanting to do a candle making class/workshop forever and my boyfriend listened haha. We came here for our anniversary so it’s absolutely great for a date or even with friends. The space is so cute and welcoming and I loved how open it was. Angel and Selah were the staff present and they were hilarious, so helpful, and super inviting. They played a mix of pop, rap, and rock music…I loved the whole vibe. The actual candle making process was so fun and they gave great instructions. I have to go back because there were so many scents I liked that I didn’t try (you get 2 per candle)….in hindsight I should’ve made another candle lol. The location opened in October 2021 and they let us know they’ve been doing fairly well so book your reservation...

I had the greatest time at Wick and Sip RVA! I went alone for my weekly self-date night and I had the most amazing experience. Selah, who led the session, was so sweet and personable. It was so hard to choose only two scents because a lot of them smell amazing! You get to wear the cutest aprons that have affirmations on them, which I thought was an amazing touch. The whole vibe of this place is cozy and comforting. It was my first time making my own candle and I will definitely be back! 10/10 would highly recommend for a solo date, night out with your friends or family, or night out...

Very fun and unique experience, I would definitely go again. The music was super loud at first which didn't fit the vibe but I thought it was really fun. The instructor was very high energy and nice, the atmosphere was beautiful. The candle making was easy and fun. The only drawback was that with all of the different candles being made, I had to step out a couple of times because the smell was making me sick. I think it could benefit from a bit more ventilation or some fans but otherwise it was great.
