Probably the worst place you can go if you are visiting and can avoid this place at night I would. First time I came there they took my card even though I told them to NOT start a tab. Turns out they keep my card. I had to come back the next day and came when it wasn’t all that busy I asked one of the managers if they could look for my card and they told me no?! She suddenly had a change of heart when I told her its my property she cannot keep it from me. I told her I would be waiting at the bar until she looked for it. She went to “look” after looking at my ID and she proceeded to bring me some other random girls ID?! When I told her she wasn’t even listening to what I asked for she then gave up looking. One of the bartenders could tell I was upset and grabbed it for me in two seconds. It took 10 minutes for her to even try. Another instance, wanted to avoid this place but I was a designated driver for a large group (we aren’t college kids) one of the apparently staff members even though he did not have it clearly written on him where we could see. Pushed pretty hard at one of the girls in our group and one of the guys asked him to go around. Next thing we know the guy is on top off him with no conversation and just grabbing him. My friend kept his hands in the air and didn’t even touch him. We had at least three clear minded people witnessing the situation including myself. People thought it was a fight so someone not from our group and one guy from ours were trying to break up the “fight”. When he was no longer in his lock, security came after a completely DIFFERENT guy than him and kicked him out for no reason. When asking staff what was happening and what was going on they had no reason. And get this, just for asking “hey where is our friend I am just trying to make sure everyone from my group gets home safe” they lady told me I needed to leave? Of course I left but I had questions. this place is ridiculous if you’re not a college student that has literally no other place to go. I’d avoid it like the plague. Granted I’ve never been there during the day. Also their drinks are wildly over priced when I went the first night I thought I was mistakenly over charged it cost me close to $12 for only one small drink. I paid and tipped nicely of course but definitely don’t go here expecting it to be...
Read moreThis place is unprofessional and an complete scam! The story begins with me coming to visit VA for my sisters Birthday all the way from NC. I made sure to call in advance to make sure they had a particular beer that is hard to find so that I would not waste a trip out to Richmond. The lady on the phone verified that they had this particular beer so I drove an hour to come pick it up excited to give this to my sister for her Birthday. Not only was the place over priced but while driving on the way back to the house we realized that it was the wrong beer. I was furious and since I already had plans I was unable to drive back out there that evening to return it so I specifically called to verify that I can return or exchange this for a full refund over the phone and she confirmed and apologized for the mishap. On my way back to NC I stopped back to return the beer to find that the manager had NO idea this had happened and could not refund my money the only option he had was to give me a gift card which I had no need for. We spoke about it and he said he could take the product back, talk to his owner and call us back the next day with a resolution so that is what we decided to do. The day went by so I decided to touch base with them and of course no one knew who we were etc etc so now I am furious because I am out of my money and these people are giving us the go around. They took our information again to call us back and of course NO CALL AGAIN, so we called again the next day and the hostess picks up to rudely tell us that the manager is too busy to take our call. I wanted to do things the nice way before disputing the charges and writing bad reviews on their websites but unfortunately they have left me no other option. I am extremely disappointed with this company as a whole and their employees that are staffed at this facility. Trust me and do not waste your time or your...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin, but for the sake of anyone who values their safety, I feel morally obligated to warn others about what happened to me at this club.
I was calmly walking out of a room that was left completely open to the public — no signs, no ropes, no staff presence — with a friend, when a group of bouncers started yelling at us like we’d broken into some VIP vault. We didn’t argue. We complied and started walking toward the exit.
Out of nowhere, I was violently grabbed from behind and choked. Not restrained. Choked. A huge man had his full arm around my neck, cutting off my air. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t see. I was disoriented and terrified. He held it tight, and I genuinely feared for my life. I don’t know if it lasted five seconds or ten, but it was long enough to cause real pain and panic — and all for standing in an open room?
I have a thyroid condition, and afterward, the right side of my neck felt pinched and sore. It still flares up. That kind of pressure around my neck is dangerous, and the fact that it was done so recklessly makes it worse.
And the police? They stood there doing nothing. Apparently, if you don’t pass out on the floor, it doesn’t count. I guess some people think assault is acceptable when it happens inside a club. It’s not.
I come from a family with legal and financial resources, and this is not being brushed under the rug. I’ve already spoken with counsel. Security footage will be requested, medical records are being documented, and formal complaints are underway.
To the owners and management: you are 100% responsible for the actions of your staff. What happened to me wasn’t just unprofessional — it was violent and completely illegal. You’re lucky I walked out of there at all.
If you care about your safety, especially if you have any health conditions, do not step foot in this...
