Place is clean and organized. That is why I gave it 2 stars. However, I was treated poorly really for no reason - I guess I just had questions that bothered the employee? I brought my clothes here for the first time. I had dozens of brands like Abercrombie, Free People and BCBG. We are moving and downsizing so I had probably 6-7 full full boxes of really lightly used brand named close (some that still had tags). I got $45 total for it. That’s fine.. kinda wild but fine. What really bothered me though is that before I left my close I asked about their policy. I was slightly confused and they were needlessly hostile by cutting me off and saying “well this is our policy so… take it or leave it”. It was unnecessarily aggressive and hostile. So I called my friend who owed a consignment company. She talked me through it and said their policy was normal.. but as I was on the call that same girl (blonde hair and big lashes working 10/7/24 at 12pm) came up to me and shoved a print out of their policy at me. Again, it was oddly aggressive and I really think that’s part of why they didn’t take a lot of my clothes. What they were saying wasn’t wrong.. it was all how it was said. It made me extremely uncomfortable for no reason. I was just nervous and confused. Some customer service and communication training would be helpful. I’m not sure I’d be back or recommend my friends here after that really...
Read moreTook my clothes in and was asked if I wanted to keep my items or donate them and I said keep. The guy said “okay if you are keeping please make sure to be back by 7 if you want to keep.” I also asked I will also receive a text when my items are ready correct? He said yes. I get back at 6:09. I walk in they don’t say hello or anything instead yell across the room asking if I sold to them. I say yes walk over to the counter and he says they took 10 items which great. This isn’t about the amount of items they took. He hands me my money and says “k thanks have a great night.” I said oh no I need my stuff back he says “it says donate.” I said no I asked for my items and you even said if I want them back to be back before 7. He says “okay well they are donated but we can go grab them.” He takes a shorter curly haired girl with him and makes her carry out all 6 bags in three separate trips not coming out to help her once or apologizing for HIS mistake. She apologized even though she did nothing wrong. I also asked for my TJ maxx bag back that we brought stuff in and she pulls it from under the counter empty. This bag was overflowing with clothes when I took it in way more than 10 items. The guy comes out and him and another worker start whispering and watching us walk out. This location is very sneaky. I would not sell to them. Seems as if other...
Read moreMy friends and I enjoyed the store PRODUCTS. unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome. Two adult independent ethnic women having fun who have no need to feel to way we did. I haven't felt uncomfortable and looked down on in a long time till today's experience. They seem to tolerate prejudiced behavior. If you feel like you are being followed they will claim that it is the employees "organizing". That's not true, they will look at you like you will be sealing something throughout the store, our shopping experience was so uncomfortable. I've sent a message to the owner about my experience and they presumed to say that I was lying and sent me a message and shrugged off my experience with the excuse of they have a job to organize. Organizing and following people through the store is not organizing. It was not until I spoke outloud to my friend how uncomfortable I was feeling that they left to the back room. Also, they did not look like they were organizing at all. What they were doing was hovering over us not organizing, that is being rude and assuming we came in to steal from this store, it's ridiculous. Overall, It was our first time at the store so I'll be giving them another opportunity to redeem themselves. I'll be going again in hopes that change has been made, prejudice behavior is not acceptable anywhere and this business will not be...
