I loved being able to come here for their services. This place is super clean and the girls were super nice. I was scheduled for an appointment with them at 7:15pm today. Someone from this place called me at 6:55pm to let me know I could be seen sooner, so I left. I have no control over traffic and unfortunately because of that I was 5 minutes late to my appt. I value the time of any appointment I have and hate being late. I get to the front desk and I was told I could not be seen because I was late.. 5 MINUTES LATE… they could do half the service.. who wants one leg waxed?? So I left without rescheduling. Either my standards are too high or missing hairs is just part of their “speed waxing”. You get offered a free wax as a new client and I’d rather forego the free wax and pay to go elsewhere. Had about 4-5 weeks of growth, and while I understand it takes a while to get back into the same growth cycle— I do expect not to have small spots of hair remaining for $65. I have 3 different spots leftover that have 5-8 hairs remaining. Clean up strips? No. Tweezing? No. They really rush you in and out. I’ve been going to Lunchbox/Radiant Waxing in Riverdale since 2019, and my experience is great every time. Always on time, neat, tidy and clean, and fair prices. I’ve seen a few waxologists, and Mary is by far my favorite. She has a bubbly and genuine personality. She explains what she’s doing with correct terminology. When I first interacted with her, my service was with another waxologist. I thought Mary was the general manager because she was so friendly and genuine.
