I’ve worked at the habit for almost 2yrs and never had no problems until the new regional manager /general manager Osvaldo Flores and the new manger to riverdale Kayce Castro , they pulled me aside to have a meeting with them because kayce had told osvaldo false accusations about me after meeting me the same day telling him that I would slamming boxes and ruining merchandise and that’s I don’t have a good attitude and other things as well , so during the meeting he came off with an attitude and really rude asking me if I have a problem and I had answered no and after I had answered no he continue to ask me the same question in a different way and again I had told him no and then osvaldo proceeded to tell me that I was a negative person and that he doesn’t negative people in his store and as I told him I was negative that’s I’m always positive he interrupted me and told me he wasn’t calling me negative, osvaldo then saw my nails and told me I couldn’t wear them even tho I’ve been with the company for almost 2yrs and told me only cashiers could have nails and I told him that was fine I could take them off or switch positions and that’s when he kept proceeding to tell me that I’m negative and this and that and I told him that I wasn’t I enjoy working here and he had no care for me as an employee or any other employee, so I told him I will just put my 2 weeks in and he told that’s fine I’d rather struggle than have negative people in my store , as kacey was sitting next to him smirking the whole time and laughing. This company doesn’t care about there employees I would work almost everyday and cover shifts and work doubles some days and didn’t get paid my worth but enjoyed working because of the manager jamie because she always had employees back and cared for us. After I left osvaldo let other people have nails and let the most unsanitized person have nails, and still keep her employed even tho there as been many issues with her. I’ve tried to call Hr but they...
Read moreI came in on Easter 4/20 at about 6:30-6:50PM when the lobby was empty and ordered a char meal. While waiting, I noticed the kitchen was empty besides the cashier/drive thru girl, (who had great customer service).
Since I was looking around a lot, one of the cooks finally entered the kitchen. I sat on the bench across from the register, and since I was sitting there looking into the kitchen the cook began mocking me. Honestly, you could probably check the cameras and see her mocking me with a piece of your wrapping papers, and clearly laughing at me and making fun of me to the other cook that briefly entered the kitchen. For what, sitting and waiting for my food?
Then, she gave me cold fries that had been sitting in the metal basket for who knows how long. I hate those fries so I asked for her to drop me new fries. They only take 1:45 minutes to cook, and store volume was extremely low. I don’t see why she couldn’t have dropped in new fries. When I asked for new fries, she loudly sighed in my face like I was disturbing her so badly.
Before I left, I informed the manager of her rude behavior and was told the cooks name was Carmen. I would have come in to the store to complain about her behavior again, but i don’t have the time so I’m leaving a review. I used to be a regular here, and actually really enjoy the food here. But if I’m going to get made fun of just for waiting and wanting my food cooked correctly, then I see no reason to come back. Is this a sufficient way to treat your customers?
I’ve never been treated like that at any restaurant establishment in my life, and so I hope management of this store sees this review and actually sees how she was treating me if they still have the footage. It was unacceptable, and I think that experience was bad enough to where I’d rather find somewhere else to eat where I won’t be...
Read moreThis was a rough night for them. My family and I usually enjoy The Habit. Tonight my son and I went in and placed an order to go for the family. We waited about 25 minutes and when they called us up we grabbed the big bag to take home for the family. I went home and when I started passing out the food we were missing two sandwiches. I submitted a complaint on their website and attempted to call them. I was directed to submit a complaint online per their automated system. So I called back and pressed the number 2 to place a phone order after two tries I reached a person. She said if I came back they would give me my missing items and cook my son's hamburger well done as requested originally and received it very pink. So I drove out there again and when I got to the counter they knew nothing about me coming, but they were willing to make the items for me. I waited again for about twenty minutes and then watched the tenderloin sandwich fall out of the container just as the young man picked it up to bag it. I watched him pick it up then mangled the sandwich off the counter and send it back to the other side and ask them to fix it. I waited about 10 more minutes and they gave me the two missing sandwiches and the well-done double char. The most frustrating thing was the time it took and the difficulty in trying to get it fixed. Well then I came home and my family had waited to eat with me so they ate cold food and my husband's steak sandwich didn't have any steak on half of it. Our original order was 2 orders of onion rings, 1 tempura green beans, 1 sweet potatoes fries, a grilled chicken club, a double char well-done, no tomato, Santa Barbra sandwich, 2 tenderloin sandwiches with grilled onions,...
