Pros: Cons: 24 hour Service, Courteous Not prompt for appts Knowledgeable, Professional Techs Poor communication, Techs went above and beyond Lacks followup Photo/Video, Presented options Office disorganized Local, family-owned business Pricing
Our AC went out on a Monday evening. Called AireServ, told AC tech would be here between 7-9 pm. Tech, Roberto Flores, arrived around 10 pm and worked diligently until 2 am to get the 25 year old AC/electrical system going; unsuccessfully. He was genuinely concerned about leaving this senior citizen without AC in record breaking heat. I said there was a small, new, room AC in the shed, which he promptly retrieved, assembled and placed in the bedroom window before departing around 3 am. I am immensely grateful for his kindness. He even checked with me each day to make sure everything was still okay.
The following late afternoon, (they were due earlier in the day) Sergio (Owner?) and Roberto returned to show us the pictures and video of the attic system. Burnt and frayed wiring, fried parts and the melted electrical components were placed on my kitchen counter. We were given several options/pricing - without a high pressure sales pitch. We chose to replace the aged AC system, air handler, electrical components/ wiring, and to add more attic insulation. We advanced a sizable down payment for the work. Because the work was so expensive, we checked with family, friends, and trusted others, who recently had AC work done. We learned our cost was “in the ball park” for similar work/equipment. (NOTE: replacement HVAC systems and repair costs are not for the faint of heart!).
After several communication issues with the office, the system was finally installed Friday. Rego and Nate worked all day in that sweltering attic. That afternoon we were asked to pay the balance before all the work was done, and while our previously running garage AC was still disconnected. We advised the office of the garage AC snaffou and Chris (ops manager?) arrived to complete the work. He also did a thorough QC of the two systems. He answered all our questions, gave us the new equipment paperwork, and when he left, we felt very comfortable with the installation and new system.
While there were a few hiccups, we would call AireServe again for AC issues/repairs. When their initial parts and labor warranty approaches expiration, we plan to have the system serviced and will likely purchase an annual maintenance contract. All techs were awesome and the on site personnel delivered exceptional customer service. Roberto and Chris are definitely keepers!
To AireServ: we would recommend better ongoing communication from your office to customers, and from the office to on site personnel. We believe this problem is due, in part, to a lack of personnel, and the call/work volume experienced during unprecedented high temperatures. In an attempt to help as many customers as possible, necessary communication and timely followup with your current customer was repeatedly lost. None the less, Kudos for your service dedication and ACTUALLY providing 24...
Read moreAbsolutely despicable company. Their company slogan says they stand behind their work. They do not. They improperly installed new ac unit and now say they need to relocate the unit to make it function correctly and want to charge $20,000.00 to do so. Do not fall for these folks. They are super nice but take NO responsibility for their poor workmanship. RUN! Follow up on this issue. I finally had time to look at this issues myself. The major problem was that the condensate drain did not have enough slope to properly drain the condensation from the pan. I, an untrained HVAC tech, went to Lowes and spent $11.00 and repaired this issue myself in about 30 minutes. Remember that this company installed this system and had two technicians and two supervisors come to review water drain issue prior to me repairing. Also the safety drain pan was not installed correctly either. Gave me a $20K estimate to relocate the air handler to correct the issue which they created during installation. I also left a VM for the proprietor, Sergio, to return my call on 7.11.2025. My call was not returned. No surprise. This company is a complete JOKE. RUN, RUN, RUN. I will complete a BBB complaint against this company over the next few days as time allows. As far as standing behind your repairs, I would say you "hide behind your repairs" to be more accurate. No telling what kind of misinformation you were telling the prior owner about why the system wasn't functioning properly. You should be ashamed of yourselves treating a 70 year old single woman in that manner. You may be able to manipulate many of your clients but I am not one of them. And of course I am NOT nor ever will be one of your clients. It has been a very long time since I have encountered a company that treated a customer as poorly as your company does. Were your company reputable, there wouldn't be as many poor reviews on Google as there are.
If you would be "happy" to speak with me then why has sergio not returned my call from July 11, 2025. Posturing on the internet will get you nowhere. Folks are not stupid and read right through your attempts to cover up you lack of talent to be able to install a simple condensate drain line. I understand the work was done over a year ago. However when the installation was completed originally, the work was not done correctly. I am not complaining about a switch, relay or other apparatus that has failed and may be out of warranty. What I am complaining about is your attempt to upsell me and your inability to correctly install a simple condensate drain. I also know that over 50 folks have read my accurate review of your company.
I am also aware that the previous owner who contracted your company to install unit had the same issue with water overflowing the pan and that was shortly after the unit was installed so this issue that YOUR company created is...
Read moreI called Aire Serv Saturday evening to see if they could get my AC running after a different company failed to repair it.
A technician arrived and advised the capacitor was out of spec and my refrigerant was low. He also advised the TXV could be causing the refrigerant problem. We approved the capacitor and refrigerant; and work was completed. They also sent a salesman to quote a new central unit.
Less than 24 hours later the AC went down again. I called at 6:08pm on Sunday and was told the local office would reach out. After not hearing anything, I called again at 6:54pm and was again told the local office would reach out.
At 8:04pm I received a text message stating they would try to have a technician out that night. I responded at 8:05pm that “A technician was out last night, I paid over $600 and my AC isn’t working again. I need a technician out tonight.” The company website states 24/7 service. The text I sent was read at 8:22pm and ignored.
The temperature inside my house was 91 degrees. We went and bought a window unit to try to at least cool one room. Aside from the text at 8:04pm, the only communication I received was the salesman calling to advise he had reworked the quote we declined. When we mentioned the AC went down again and we had to purchase a window unit, he stated that Aire Serv would have brought a loaner AC.
After going to the office in person this morning, a new technician was sent and he sprayed down the condensing coil, washed the compressor, and re-seated the compressor jacket; which did allow the outside unit to start again. He believes the problem is a dirty evaporator coil, and provided estimates for a Pull & Clean, Coil Replacement, and a Coil & Condenser...
