Gummies BBQ — Restaurant in Rockport

We finally got to stop at Gummies. Let me tell you, we have been disappointed by many Bbq spots, but this place killed it!! I had a loaded tater. Now I was expecting tots but this was a small football sized baked potato loaded with butter, pinto beans, cheese, pulled pork and what ever else. This thing was soooo big I had breakfast and lunch ready the next day. My wife had the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese. Unreastically HUGE sandwich topped with pickles, onions, and slaw. She was able to eat half. If you are in the area, stop in you won't be disappointed. Price is right, and portions are giant. We will definitely be back. We'll done.

I absolutely cannot rave enough about this place. My family and I were headed out to the beach and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. We had never been here before but figured we would try something new. I got myself the loaded tater with brisket and my husband got a sliced brisket sandwich, we also got elote and Mac and cheese. First and foremost, the lady at the counter was the nicest person I've ever met! The food was decently priced and we got so much food! It is so delicious as well! Perfectly smoked brisket and the tater is bigger than my head! 😅 We are from Mathis and Gummies BBQ would surely put smoliks out of business! Thank you so much! And we will definitely be going back next time we come...

Had to take a moment to let people know that I'm this is REAL DEAL TEXAS BBQ. Been coming to Rockport for many years & finally decided to pull the trigger on Gummies. I'm really particular when it comes to BBQ as we all know, it's always hit or miss with most places. Gummies is definitely a HIT! Ordered a Loaded Tater with pulled pork, Brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad. Absolutely delicious! Service was fast and friendly, sitting area clean and cool from the sun's scorching heat.
