I used to really love sprouts been shopping there for over 10 years but now I live three hours away from sprouts so when my husband travels he stops and gets me groceries once a month I live out in the middle of nowhere on 21 acre Homestead so groceries are pretty important. I had an order that my husband was coming to pick up from sprouts it included 2 1 /2 gallons of organic milk once my order was complete, I was looking through it and realized it said the quantity of milk was changed from two to one. My order was already complete and my husband was on his way to get it. The shopper did not tell me they only had one organic milk and the brand that I asked for they have several organic milk available and she never asked me if I wanted a replacement that really bothered me so I called the store and I let the manager know Melanie my dilemma she said that she would get on her about it and that was about it and I said OK and I hung up the phone and after I thought about it, I was like wow why couldn’t she have just offered to stick a milk in with my order of $3.50 and make a customer happy if I didn’t live so far away from a grocery store it wouldn’t be a big deal but this is a seriously big deal. I told her my husband had to stop and grab me another half gallon of milk. I think a good manager would let me go ahead and grab you and put it in with your order and I apologize, I told her I was disappointed she didn’t offer to make it right she said she would make it right she didn’t know that I was asking for a free milk which I really wasn’t asking for a free milk. I just feel like she could’ve came up with a resolution so then she said she would go ahead and put a milk with my order 10 minutes later my husband showed up and nobody knew what he was talking about when he asked if they put the other half gallon of milk in my order, my husband’s already been complaining that sprouts Customer Service is nothing like it used to be and it really isn’t even the bakery have good baked goods anymore went downhill and service and goods so we decided to make a monthly trip to another grocery store from now on, we will no longer be shopping at sprouts you can...
Read moreA brand new Sprouts Farmers Market recently opened to the public on March 15th 2024 in the shopping center next to Cici’s Pizza, Adios Fajitas and 24 Hour Fitness. The location was formerly a department clothing store.
Sprouts touts itself as a farmers market, and the layout and presentation of the store is centered around fresh produce in low height crates and boxes. The aesthetic is intentionally mimicking an actual farmers market, but this one is in a well lit and climate controlled building without the little hand written signs.
I could not tell you if every sprouts is the same size, but I can say that this location seems to be much smaller than a full sized grocery store, which is the point. Sprouts is not really setup to be a 100% replacement for a place like Walmart, Target or even Kroger. Most of the emphasis here is on fresh meats and produce, as well as health conscious specialty foods. This would be the place to shop if you have a specific diet or allergy and needed special items to accommodate it.
The store was clean, beautiful, and well stocked. There was an overwhelming amount of fresh proteins in the meat cabinet, more than I had time to consider. Most interesting to me was the obscure and odd variations of soda, candy and chips. Things made out of lentils, chicken skin, bananas etc. Many of these items I have never seen before or even heard of.
Maybe that is part of the fun. Just going in and discovering something new that you never knew you added.
Parking was a bit of a pain, but this is probably because of the opening weekend hype. Either way, another major grocery option in Rockwall serves an undeniable proof that this area is still experiencing nonstop growth and expansion. A lot of people don’t like that, but there is not much that can be done to stop it so we might as well be thankful when a high quality options adds its name...
Read moreI recently visited Sprouts in Rockwall, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a distressing encounter at the self-checkout. Around 7:20 PM on Monday, April 1st, I was subjected to disrespectful treatment by an African American employee.
After completing my purchase, the employee persisted in accusing me of attempting to steal a 10-cent bag, despite me having already paid for it. It was clear that he targeted me, ignoring other customers, and assuming that as a foreigner, I would be more likely to steal. This assumption is not only offensive but completely unwarranted.
No one, regardless of their race or nationality, should be falsely accused over such a trivial matter. The employee's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. Even after showing him my receipt, he continued to be rude and failed to apologize for his unwarranted accusations.
It's disheartening to have such an experience at a store I had looked forward to visiting. This incident has greatly diminished my opinion of Sprouts in Rockwall. I urge management to address this issue promptly and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of...
