Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Rosemead

WARNING: Good food. VERY poorly trained staff. VERY poor customer support. VERY poor basic Math skills. Seriously, they don't even know the items on the menu. My mom went in trying to get an order e.g. Item 1: BBQ Katsu Mix (approx. $10) + Item 2: Aloha plate with 1. Kalua Pork and 2. Grilled cheese chicken (approx. $10) and they tried to charge her $90 dollars. She tried a second time and they charged her $40 and she had to cancel the order of course. To the person at the register who took my Mom's order, I had to deal with a headache for an hour because you CANNOT do your job. Whatever happened to customer support and giving the customer what they need? Instead of helping an elderly women get an order, you feigned ignorance and pretended you couldn't do anything. This is unacceptable. If these are values you represent as a company, then my family, friends and I WILL NEVER GO BACK to Ono's...

Normally I review about the whole experience including the quality of the food but I couldn't help but give a one star for such a bad and careless experience given here. Phoned in an order for pickup and arrived 10 mins later during my lunch break. Paid and waited. And waited and waited. Seen customers come and go and the cashier that charged me didn't even bother to check up on my order. 20 minutes pass and I asked about it and she proceeds to act like she didn't see me there waiting after she charged me for the food. My food had been there waiting for a while apparently and she just carelessly gave it to me, turned around and walked away. No apologies or anything for taking up most of my lunch break waiting for my already ready to go order. Food was not bad but the service is...

Foods good but sometimes they lack on portions, there’s always this one girl with a weird build who is always rude, I got my food and it had barley any meat so I told the rude girl in the front, she says oh that’s just how it comes so i asked to speak to a manager and she tried to lie and say she is a manager and i said okay get ur other manager and she did not want to, she asked if i spoke Spanish which i said yes and she said okay and she brought out a cook who wasn’t even a manager and he was very nice and apologized and gave me more, but that girl is always so rude for no reason every single time I come. shes always there on the night shift. Leave that job if you’re that miserable girl, I just come to get my food that I payed for with my money and that’s it. No need to...
