This is my new favorite store! The reloading components are well stocked with a huge selection and the prices on smokless powders are about 2/3 that of bass pro and Cabela's. The firearms selection is impressive. The staff was extremely friendly. The store carries those certain items that you may end up special ordering online since other sporting stores tend to carry the same generic items. I'm lucky to have a place like this so near. Edit: it's sad what 2 years will do. This was my favorite store ever since they opened. However ever since this craziness with the gun market I can't in good conscience shop at a business that I suspect is price gouging. They went from limiting reloading primers at a brick a day (which is fine) to limiting them to 100 per day, they increased the price first from $5 per hundred to $8 and now $10 per hundred. I get preventing people from stockpiling and scalping on the secondary market,it just seems a bit convenient that they doubled their profit margin in the meantime. Other vendors charge exactly what they did prior to the shortage. I don't purchase ammo there because I planned ahead but I notice that .223 and 5.56 are a buck a rd. Cabela's and bass pro haven't increased their prices at all. It seems that they are benefiting off of the panic. Don't mistake this, I am not bitter as I am not in need but I do pay attention to business practices of companies. Especially ones where I've spent thousands of dollars in the last 2 years. Now on to my second issue:the staff. I had a guy behind the gun counter ask to see my basket as I walked past thinking that I was going over my limit of reloading components instead of saying hi they treat you like a rule breaker. The cashier's are also quite unpredictable as to the attitude that they will have. A good buddy of mine who just got into reloading had another employee behind the gun counter start harassing him for the quantity of powder that he bought even though it was two lbs below their limit. The only employees who i genuinely like is the gentleman who runs the fishing department and the young man named Court at the knife counter. The majority of the others don't seem like they belong in customer service positions. In summation I'm just...
Read moreI ordered a liberty safe from Fin Feather & Fur 4 months ago. When I ordered it there was a 60 day wait which is understandable but here I am 4 months later and a bag of lies from several people and I still have no safe. I have been told it was shipped and supposed to arrive by a certain day but it never did. Then when I called a month after that date to check on the status and it magically arrived that day which I found out later was a lie. Then they wanted to give me another safe but have a locksmith come and change the electric lock to a mechanical like I wanted. That is not going to fly with me. I want liberty safes to build and install everything so I have no issues with warranty in the future. Plus how do I k is this safe isn’t a floor model they’re trying to get rid of? Then Stacey the safe buyer after telling me she would call me back to schedule a delivery, never called and just scheduled it for a day that she chose without even asking me! I could go on all day with lies that we’re told to me from these people but it would do me no good. I will never be buying anything from this place again as long as I live. I was more than nice every time I called and asked for an update (which I shouldn’t have to do) but it has come to this point that it never should have gotten to. Lies, no returned phone calls, no safe and nothing but a headache. I tried to buy an American made product from a local store but it failed. I will be getting a refund and going to Cabelas to buy one of their safes. Cabelas had this corner of the market so I try to spend my money elsewhere to help other businesses but they have their stuff together and in this situation it’s hard not to go to them. These people continue to place the blame on liberty safes for this but in the end liberty is not the one lying to people. The simple truth never hurts and people are more willing to accept a difficult situation when they know they are being told the truth but are less willing once they catch people in their lies. If you are considering a safe purchase this is definitely not the place to go but if you choose to I hope you have a better experience than I have. Mine has been less...
