ALWAYS a delicious visit with my family and I. It's where I introduced my daughter to dipping her fresh cut French fries into malt vinegar and she absolutely LOVES it! Until fairly recently, my family and I hadn't been there in quite some time- a year or more maybe. I was surprised and anxious when I saw the amount of taller table and chairs replacing the average sized table and chairs. Unfortunately, for health reasons, I cannot sit at the taller table and chairs. There were people ahead of us in line and I was concerned about needing to take my order to my car to eat it out there. I was only able to get an average sized table and chairs because we snagged one as soon as a customer left and I cleaned it off with a baby wipe. There was a similar thing that happened between us with some elderly women with canes and no one offered up their table and chairs. My husband, daughter and I offered to finish up what very little food we had left, let them have our table and even got an employee to wipe down the table for them. It meant a lot to those sweet women, it was a small gesture for us and a teachable moment for our daughter. My heart went out to them because a week or two before that, I would have had to take my food and messy kid to my car to eat and I will have to do the same thing in the future. The fries are usually the most delicious I can get anywhere, that is, until I factor in how overly salty they can be. Please, please, please, use about a quarter of the amount of salt used on the fries and set out salt packets for those who want more salt. Once you put salt on the fries, there's no taking it off or toning it down at all- even if a person orders fries without salt because there will be salt residue lingering on the equipment. Just my...
Read moreWe ordered via Uber Eats. The app said our order was ready. Upon arriving, we were locked out and an employee turned off the “open” sign while actually looking us in the eyes. While standing outside in the 35° weather for 10 minutes where they could clearly see us through the glass windows, I attempted to call 4 times. Several customers were dining inside and several others walked up beside us to pick up their orders or come in and dine. When they finally picked up the phone, they verified our order and said they would send someone to the door to let us in. Upon being let in, we were told “sorry we got busy so we closed.” It was 7:03pm, the store hours said open til 9pm. While standing at the counter for our order that they said was already ready, we waited another 10 minutes as we watched them prepare our meals. I am not one to complain, but the situation was handled very poorly. Several customers had already placed orders and we were given absolutely no explanation as to what was going on. There seemed to be an attitude from the worker who locked us out, as if he enjoyed locking the doors in our face with not a single word of an explanation while others continued to dine inside. Very unprofessional. The food was good, but this review is about the service...
Read moreI really like Five Guys but this location has degraded throughout the years. I ordered through the app tonight (11/9) and waited 10 minutes to drive up to the location. Upon arriving, I told the cashier that I was there for a mobile order. I told her my name and she announced that I was there. This was the only communication between the employees that I heard other than the cashier calling out how many patties they needed. I stood there for 15 before I finally asked to cancel my order. The gentleman in the black shirt was more than willing to cancel my order but when he head my name, he said the order had been completed. I walked with him to the pick up area and sure enough he handed me my order. The gentleman in the black was calling out orders in no linear fashion. Order 73 was called at the same time as 77. So 74, 75, and 76 were passed over more than likely because they were smaller orders and could be pushed out sooner. Also the guy manning the grill was very behind. At one point the cashier called out 7 patties and he had 12 on the grill, meanwhile the cashier still had orders to take. I understand that they have been short staffed but it doesn't excuse the lack of communication and the gentleman in the black shirt wasnt...
