Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Rossford

First time visitors to this establishment and it will likely be the last. The prices were way too expensive for the food served. My partner and I ordered a Ceaser Chicken Salad and it was limp with barely any lettuce/spinach inside (I requested extra Parmesan Cheese). The tiny cup of dressing was barely enough to cover any small salad. The Maple Sweet Potatoes were decent. We arrived at this location at 5:20 and we did not leave until 5:55. One of the food handlers messed up our take-out order and we have to wait while it was remade. My partner felt that no one really paid attention to him while he was placing his order (cashier seemed distracted) therefore, mistakes were made. Service was just too slow today. This place is run by a bunch of smart mouth rude teenagers with zero customer service skills. I paid over $15 with fees for a cheese quesadilla via Doordash with no cheese. It was so bad that I returned it and they told me this is normal and this is how they make it, which is not true I have ordered it at other locations and they actually include cheese. What is so bad about this location is they think their attitudes are funny. Well, they are not and I’ll make sure their corporate office sees these photos. You either refund or remake bad food and they refused to do either. They also refused to give me the managers’ name and number - it took me asking three times. If you can’t make a basic cheese quesadilla you should be fired. When you have multiple employees smarting off to your customers with complete disrespect for the fact that they are the reason they get a paycheck - fire them. Not returning...

The tropical these at this smoothie place is adorable down to the fun colors and flip flop on the back of the bathroom door. The staff is friendly. They have a variety of smoothies, food and snacks. While I should not compare it to competitors, the smoothie was a letdown. I ordered a peanut butter banana smoothie and I could not taste any peanut butter in it. I knew there was some, because my lid had a smudge of it. The banana was such a strong flavor that blended with the frozen yogurt, it was very watery and almost flavorless.
