Nestled in the heart of downtown Round Rock, this locally owned and operated gift shop is a true gem where rustic charm seamlessly blends with contemporary flair. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed into an inviting atmosphere filled with high-quality and handmade items that exude both character and craftsmanship. And I won’t leave out the offering of self-serve mimosa’s! This shop is a treasure trove of unique finds, each piece showcasing the dedicated work of talented artisans. Whether you’re searching for a memorable gift or a timeless addition to your home, the diverse selection ensures there’s something for everyone.

What truly sets this shop apart is not just the quality and variety of its offerings, but the palpable sense of heart in every detail. The owners have curated an experience that feels both personal and special, making each visit a delightful adventure. Shoppers can expect to find items that are not only beautiful but enduring—many of which could become cherished family heirlooms, passed down through generations.

Moreover, the price point reflects the incredible value of the items in the store. While each piece is undoubtedly of high quality, the costs remain sensible and well-worth-it, making it accessible for anyone looking to invest in something special. This balance of affordability and excellence is a testament to the owners' commitment to their customers and community.

The staff is truly the heart of Hometown. Their friendly and knowledgeable demeanor sets it apart from larger retail chains. They are always ready to assist, offering thoughtful recommendations or sharing the backstory behind various handmade items. It’s clear that they care not only about their products but also about creating meaningful connections with their customers.

Overall, this gift shop stands out as a beacon of warmth and creativity in downtown Round Rock. It’s a place where you can find the perfect gift, indulge in a bit of local art, and support a business that truly cares about its craft and clientele. Five...

I think I’ve officially found my favorite local gift shop. I noticed this cute store while driving through Downtown Round Rock, and I finally got a chance to visit. Talk about Magnolia-Silos vibes.

Everything in this store is so cute, and there is something for everybody! I wanted to buy everything. There are beautiful home goods, like serving dishes and utensils, plant holders, throw blankets and pillows, welcome mats, candles, art, and other home decor. There are sections for bridesmaids, kiddos, and dogs. They had little cowgirl boots! And there are little knickknacks for people who like coffee, tea, cheese, tacos, cooking, gardening, and drinking. There are also beautiful leather goods and jewelry. I was even blown away by the bathroom. I’m obsessed.

It made my day when the owner told the ladies entering the store that they could pour themselves a mimosa! I would’ve helped myself if I wasn’t driving.

I picked up local goodies as gifts for friends. The owner packed them so beautifully for me.

The owner mentioned this store was a house her business partners bought and turned into a store. The house was built in the 1920s and still holds that antique charm with a modern flair. The shiplap and the floors are original and gorgeous.

I love everything about this little shop, and I will definitely return to buy gifts for friends and family and maybe even something for myself...

We visited this new store today as part of the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting with the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.

What a a BEAUTY!

Their selection of gifts is terrific with unique items you won't find anywhere else, including local sourced items and 1 of kind creations by local artists.

They had the most adorable baby items which, of course, really excited us since we are weeks away from Grandbaby #1 :)

We spent time with the owners who told of the incredible history of the home. You have to see the magnificent shiplap that is well over 100 years old and no longer commercially available. The remodel job was fantastic and paid very close attention to preserving and repurposing original materials.

Make a trip to visit Hometown Gift & Decor. I promise you your first visit won't...
