The City Arts Center — Attraction in Round Rock

My kids enjoyed looking at the Christmas Model Train Display that is put on for free by the Austin Tinplate Trackers. You can tell that a lot of work is put into each section, and they were especially excited about the Harry Potter area. It was very generous of the team to let my girls hold the remotes and each conduct a train. It's a bit of a small area and it was starting to feel crowded the later we stayed. I can understand why a lot of people want to stop in and see this beautifully done exhibit, but there isn't a ton of room to walk around the models. During the holiday season ArtSpace has a fantastic O-guage train layout set up. If you've got kids, you must take them. Lots of color, sound, and action. For a small donation a child can run one of the trains. Where else can one have so much fun for so little? Even if you're an adult it is...
