During the day it's a lovely stroll down memory lane, and if you need to absorb a lot of different auditory stimulus and dont have a huge chunk of time, come sit at one of the lovely bistro style tables the city has graciously provided and soak it in any night. Its said if you close your eyes and open your mind you can hear angels sing but all I ever hear is bad karaoke and mariachi guys doing bird calls. Maybe it's the ghosts of all the people who have been clipped at the 4 way stop signs by people who cant spell spot. Christmas is magical, take the kids, see the lights, leave the screamers at home like polite human beings, get a cup of cocoa or coffee with a scoop of ice cream at the candy store and be kind. Also theres a stop sign or two, please drive thru our bar district as though your kids were here knocking a few back and laughing way too loud at some guys dad jokes in a vain attempt to get some.
