First time customer visiting the store new to the area. Check the front doors and windows for any notices that masks would be required in the store didn't see any proceeded in without one selected some items to purchase was approached by a young lady who worked there that asked me if I had a mask and I said I didn't see on the front door there was any signs stating they were required and she said oh yes they're posted in several places and I said if you have one why do I need one and she said we can refuse you service if you don't put one on right now. That kind of attitude is just really unprofessional and not necessary. I left my items behind in the store and Well not return. I checked the outside doors again when I left to see if there were signs were saying mass required and there were not I have photographic evidence of that. I know it's inside amongst a bunch of other advertisements around the front counter there was a sign there that was easily able to be overlooked. Simple misunderstanding that escalated into some rude behavior over an item that's not required by our governor to be necessary anymore. Bad policies and procedures wouldn't recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe reason you go to a brick and mortar business these days is for personalized service. When the employees and management don't recognize the importance of product knowledge or even what they have to sell on hand, then what is the point of a "SALES FORCE"? When I complained about this very situation, the "salesman" Eric laughed. (He was laying on the register when I walked in the store.) The manager said she'd speak to him. Management must've been told ( because it is painfully obvious they don't realize it on their own) that Amazon and the like are breathing down their necks and reducing their bottom line. With no product knowledge, no idea what is inside the building to sell, no "Thank you for paying my hourly wage", I'm "SOLD!!" on never patronizing a Big Five again. "Oh look, Amazon has the same thing, all the information about the item printed right there, and an oversized THANK YOU in the middle of the screen. They even bring it right to me." I'm looking forward to the joy I'll feel over the failure of this business. Harsh? Maybe, but why should I care? Eric doesn't. One star because I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I came to this location tonight 11/28/22 and have done so many times throughout the many years. I usually have a pleasant experience until tonight. Being a family establishment, it attracts families. Well today, I had my three-year-old and given he is a toddler he usually waits until he has to go to say something. My wife asked if he could use their restroom and because of their policy they declined. You would hope that people would show compassion and understanding given the circumstances, but they did not. My wife had to then rush out and find somewhere nearby that would allow my three-year-old to use their amenities. Needless to say, we left the items we were about to purchase with the lady that refused my son the restroom and left. My family and I will not be spending any more money...
