I just came from this store and they are NOT enforcing their own Covid mask rule. The guy in front of me was NOT wearing a mask and the poor woman checking him out had to come over and help him with his credit card so she was standing right next to him. When he left and I was checking out, I asked her why they weren't enforcing the wearing of masks. She had actually given the guy a mask, but he did not put in on. She said they had problems with this same guy in the past and he had been in confrontations with other shoppers. I would like to ask Petco mgrs why are you putting your employees in harms way and not enforcing the mask wearing that you post out in front of your store. I told her she should have refused to wait on him and she admitted she should have said something. But, they really need an employee out front whose job it is to enforce this and refuse entry for non-compliance. Also, this guy should be flagged and denied entrance in the future. I was picking up an order and also needed an extra item, and Avery went above and beyond to help me. I had my new 9-week-old puppy with me, and she had an accident in the store. Without a moment's hesitation, Avery was there to help clean it up, all while being incredibly kind and understanding. He was patient and welcoming throughout the entire process. Beyond that, Avery was knowledgeable about the products I was getting and offered helpful advice without being pushy. Read moreWent to buy a new aquarium as ours has a leak. Store had many aquariums but when we asked about a hood, we were told they didn't have any. "Why?" We asked and the associated says "distribution" (one word answer that doesn't explain a whole lot) When we asked if we could order it she said "no", (no reason why, just no) When we asked what "distribution" meant considering that they sell the tank and it seems that they should have ordered the VERY IMPORTANT lid for it, the associate sarcastically stated "I can't sell you something I don't have!"
