Sadly I was not able to go in on July 22nd that night and was not able to go in there was an agressive dog I had my service dog with me. I was at the door when the dog started agressive barking at us. The woman behind the counter grabed the dog but was not controlling the dog. It kept barking at us. I did not feel safe going in there. We specifically went there because my nieces wanted to buy some tails or something But because I couldnāt go in, I could not pay for it because I have to walk to pay for and thereās no way I was going near that dog. Even if it was a service dog, it should not be acting like that. Thatās how I know it was a pet But even having your pet inside the store that stops people from going in because people are scared of dogs Especially one barking Disappointed would love to have gone in.
Iām sorry I have to edit this because what youāre saying is me walking In front of the store, put the Employee in danger???? Iām a disabled person With a legit service dog. That oneās dog barking at mine Is more of an emotional is more of an emotional support dog. My dog is Behaving and ignoring that dog. Not once, but twice barked at us. because i let my nieces go in cause they want to get something when I went to call them out. The dog started barking again. Iām the one that has the money if I canāt walk into your store, youāre losing customers With a barking dog, thereās many people theyāre scared of dogs. I didnāt even walk into the store and yet your dog saw my dog and started barking. That dog is dangerous If you have cameras, then you can obviously see weāre not doing nothing. Regardless, if that dog is a service dog or not that Behavior towards another service animal Shows itās not trained. Real service animals donāt Bark Aggressively at Other dogs. As a service dog owner And trainer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband, son and I went to their Armistice Day brunch on Sunday. It was o.k., but the communication regarding the event was lacking. There was supposed to be a scavenger hunt and we must have missed it because there was no mention of it the entire time we were there. Good thing there were plenty of mimosas. Surprising that there was enough to go around considering that the obnoxious young man who works there must have had several bottles of champagne on his own because by the time we got there a little after 10 a.m., he was too drunk to pour ours without spilling. He insulted me and my outfit and was incredibly snarky. We have had the misfortune of dealing with him another time when we visited the store. He was rude and arrogant then, but we weren't there long enough for it to turn us off completely. This time was different. He is so unbeareable, that if not dealing with him means we never go back, then so be it. I gave 2 stars because the owner clearly made an effort, but if she wants to stay in business, she needs to do 2 things. She needs to review her pricing. Even people like us who have money to spend, aren't going to pay more for something we can get online for half price. Second, she needs to get rid of the awful young man who works there. He is definitely a detriment to her success. Find someone fun and pleasant and we might return. We can't be the only people who find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFantastic. Two locations; both owned by the same very helpful woman. Son bought some things for himself, and we saw things we knew he would like, but he did not buy. So one of the nights when he wanted to go to the Grilled Cheese Gallery and then Cousteau's and we headed another direction. My husband and I went inside and picked up some of the t-shirts, a couple of Christmas ornaments, and a sticker. Here's where this store goes above and beyond, though. There was a tshirt we saw in one location, and it was not in this one, so one of the employees called the second store to confirm that they had the shirt in the size we wanted. She said they had it and asked her supervisor if she could run down to go grab it. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate them doing this for us so that we didn't have to navigate the crowd of St. George Street. It was so helpful and SO unexpected. The Aunt Matilda's website is also really cool. If steampunk is your jam, this...
