I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maple Street Biscuit Company, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere coupled with the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen set the stage for a memorable meal.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to Garrett, the community leader at Maple Street Biscuit Company. His exceptional leadership skills and genuine passion for providing outstanding service truly stood out during our visit. Garrett went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcomed and well taken care of. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food! We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one surpassed our expectations. The Five and Dime, a classic biscuit sandwich, was a delightful blend of savory and comforting flavors. The fried chicken was impeccably seasoned and crispy, while the sausage gravy added a rich and creamy element that tied everything together. The combination of perfectly cooked bacon, melted cheese, and the signature flaky biscuit was a match made in heaven.
Next up was the Potato O'Ryan, a true masterpiece of a diced potatoes with the right amount of melted cheese on top. It was a true indulgence that left us craving for more.
As for the kids' meals, the Chicken and Biscuit and Waffles were an instant hit with our little ones. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the biscuit provided a delightful contrast in texture. The waffles were fluffy and served with just the right amount of maple syrup. It's safe to say that the kids were more than satisfied with their meals.
What sets Maple Street Biscuit Company apart from other establishments is their dedication to using high-quality ingredients. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it was evident that the dishes were prepared with care and attention to detail.
Overall, our experience at Maple Street Biscuit Company was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations. And a special thanks to Garrett, whose leadership and commitment to creating a welcoming environment added an extra touch of excellence to our visit. We will definitely be returning to Maple Street Biscuit Company soon for another mouthwatering meal and to enjoy the exceptional...
Read moreSorry for the rant, I just want my frustrations to be heard.
TLDR their kitchen has trouble, even when slow, and there’s a stock problem.
Honestly, I never leave google reviews unless they were for positive ratings. (other gmails) We live locally and eat all around St.Pete. I’ve had multiple friends and colleagues work with this company.
Today was my first truly disappointing experience here. We walk in around 1pm, given there is a line of 3 customers ahead of us, and around a quarter of the inside/outside capacity seated. We came in with a group of 3, relatively simple order, made sure to comply with the currently posted 86 list (pretty long list for 2 hours before close). We end up one bam yo yo, one squawking goat, and a 6 piece tender combo. We place our order, step to the side, wait for about 5 mins (after this I start a timer, I like to see how timely service is.) by the pickup counter and then leave to get coffee at Crislip. I’m around 15 mins into my timer, 20 mins into the order, and we figure it’s probably waiting on us so we stop back inside to see if it’s ready. This is when they inform us they’re out of WAFFLE MIX (also out of gravy, at a biscuit based company?) for the bam yo yo. My spouse opts for the squawking goat instead of substituting the bread for a sweeter pumpkin one on her sandwich. I figured at this point the order would probably be a little longer. Just under 20 minutes later, after checking in with 3 people about the order, we were finally presented with our food. 45 mins on a 3 plate order, all consisting of fried chicken. We get home and I’m missing 1 of my 3 (that come included with the combo), 2 of the plates are cold, and the chicken tender basket was a sorry excuse for chicken quality and portioning. Pictured tagged below, with 2 of the tenders being placed on top of their 2 oz sauce containers for size reference. My kettle chips were soggy, and the biscuit served with my tenders was barely luke warm. We live within 5 minutes of the store, so I know this isn’t a transportation issue. When the kitchen had a problem, continued to make our order, and then sat our order on the side while they remade my wife’s food, all of our food got cold, and lost quality. I’ve worked multiple kitchens, I can understand the struggle, but for the kitchen to mismanage our order so much, and put the quality problem on us, leaves me very unsatisfied....
Read morewhen we got in line it was… interesting, u order in line which is ok but u look around the layout it weird then we heard someone call out “air conditioner” then a kid got his order u have to get ur food which is ok i guess but u have to pay attention to what object u r and not to mention my sisters got chai latte and it was straight milk and when they complained they got not even an inch or ounce of syrup added to it and my caramel mocha latte had no caramel it was ok cause it was mocha, my dad got pumpkin spice latte and it had no pumpkin or anything else and it was a hot drink but was cold. me and one of my sisters ordered sticky maple which is a breakfast sandwich of biscuit chicken and bacon with syrup on it, it was nasty chicken was something but it ain’t hard to cook a flavorless slab of meat it was topped with syrup as it’s only flavor, my dad got fried chicken with the something gravy and the gravy was piece of slop it was cold and chunky like you’d see in a dads children film. if u have $70 to burn and have no self respect this is the place for u. the only good or well reasonable meal was my other sister who got bacon eggs and hash browns and she said her eggs were cold and said and i quote “i can’t finish this, the bacon is only half decent thing here”. honestly how hard is it to cook a meal with some flavor no salt or pepper oh my bad i forgot u have to grab napkins salt pepper urself so no wonder they can’t cook u have to season ur meal urself talk about lazy employees i wouldn’t recommend leaving a tip to those who can’t even try to cooo a half decent meal. this ruined my whole day basically we went to the sweets store next door and spent around $50 dollars and we said still expensive but better than the meal we ate, and i’ve tasted ash better than...
