Gadget Fix St Pete — Local services in Saint Petersburg

Im starting this to say i wish a had this place was even here before i trekked out to Tampa. 2 weeks ago i spilled sprite onto my macbook keyboard. i took it to a mac repair store in tampa and they had me leave it with them. the diagnosis was a bad battery so they charged me 70 plus 40 for the battery install. i was happy about since i thought it would be much more expensive. Well it turns out they did not fix it properly and when i went back they took computer into the back room again and this time said that there is no way to fix it They wouldn't refund my initial payment either which i plan on taking up with my credit card company. My co-worker had told me she just got her phone repaired at gadget fix and gave me their phone number. after talking to them on the phone and explaining everything I was asked to stop by with it and they would check it out for me.

the employee had it disassembled in minutes it was like watching the flash and his work bench is behind the counter not in a backroom that i couldn't see what was being done. Unsurprisingly to me there was still sticky goo in my poor abused apple laptop. uggghh nothing was cleaned out!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I brought my iphone 7 to here after throwing it up to my friend who was on a 2nd floor. He didn't catch it on the way up and i didn't catch it on the way down since I didn't expect him to miss it. Unfortunately for me and my phone under the balcony is concrete not grass, and not only did the front glass break but the screen went completely black never to come on again.

I called my phone service company who informed me i had to wait 3 business days to get a replacement phone at a cost of $175. Going this route was also going to include me losing all my photos and contacts since they won't fix my phone just replace it with a different phone they have already fixed.

My girlfriend works down the street from gadget fix and took my phone there on her lunch break. She told me the employees treated her nicely and let her know the price before they started to repair it. unbelievably my phone is back to new and the price was less then what i had to my carrier and so...

My Iphone 6 charging piece stopped working so as the saying goes i was dead stick in mid air. I came to find gadget fix online while researching what to do in this type of sitch. I couldnt so i took a drive down and they actually have a parking lot with a few spots open which is appreciated. Once i came in the technician mike assessed my problem and once i approved got right to work. I was impressed with how friendly he was and how he was actually talking to me while he performed the repair. I'll admit this did make me nervous but my iPhone is all good back on and charging fine.

I also picked up a charging cable which seem to be as good as the one that came with my phone and screen protector to keep me from coming back for another problem.
