I recently had the wonderful opportunity to complete the Tibetan Singing Bowl Certification Course, Levels I and II, instructed by Alex at Gopali Imports. From start to finish, this comprehensive 10-hour course, thoughtfully spread over two convenient weekend days, provided an exceptional balance of theoretical understanding and practical experience.

Alex is a truly gifted teacher whose genuine passion for Tibetan sound healing is evident in every aspect of the course. I took Alex’s sound healing class and was blown away. I met Alex through the Spirit Fest, and he welcomed me and my questions with warmth and knowledge. I have purchased two sets of bowls from him because I trust his guidance. I recently made the choice to take his sound healing class. I was blown away by his sound healing class. His gentle nature and his enthusiasm to teach was beautiful to be in the presence of. His classes are well structured, with a wonderful balance of history, knowledge, and practice. He is engaging with each of his students and is always willing to answer questions or stay afterwards to continue the conversation. I thought I went into the class knowing what sound healing was about, but I learned so much more than what I could even imagine. Previous post: I put together a south bath gathering at my apartment and it was such a nice experience! I actually zoned out listening to all the layers of sounds. Everyone who attended enjoyed it too!

The shop is colorful and filled with instruments, clothes, jewelry, gifts, etc. Weeks ago, I got a singing bowl & colorful hand held fan for myself and a drum as a gift. The owner Alex Gopali and his son Pra are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly suggest a sound bath! He can do group sound baths about 7pm at your place if you are in the downtown area. Otherwise, you can have group/private sessions at the cozy, inviting studio too. Thanks Alex!
