This was our 1st time trying Marcoâs pizza at the Salem location. Came in on a Tuesday ordered a medium pizza. Once we were headed home with the pizza we were reading the AD they put on the pizza box. Advertising BOGO EVERY TUESDAY. It was a basic promotion that we didnât know they were doing. So we called to see if we could get the get one FREE pizza since we had just left the store minutes ago and werenât told about this promotion. When I called to see if they'd honor the promotion the MANAGER said Iâd have to come back in and buy another pizza to get the deal. Informed the manager I had the receipt to show we just bought the pizza and she still wanted to argue. After going back and forth with her she finally said sheâd make us a pizza. I declined. (Wasnât bout to eat a pizza made by an angry manager) The reality is it was a simple thing for them to honor a promotion thatâs intended to bring repeat business. Management needs some SERIOUS work.
UPDATE : Love to see the managers response to my Google review was to have their friends write FAKE 5 star reviews (mirroring my experience). Goofy behavior. Itâs giving unqualified for the manager position. Itâs giving this location doesnât understand what BOGO promotion means. Potential future customers save yourself the hassle and go to ANY other location. They have MULTIPLE one star reviews about how they donât honor their own deals, how they mess up orders, management is rude, and at this point they clearly have NO shame in having friends post FAKE 5 star reviews so they donât appear as bad as they are.
Other locations honor the every Tuesday BOGO no coupon needed. Because itâs a running promotion every Tuesday. What sense does it make that every Tuesday people need to bring in coupons every time they come on a Tuesday. (That wouldnât be very environmentally conscious) be so...
Read moreI do not recommend getting food here. Tried them out for the first time tonight because I received coupons in the mail, which the website wouldnât recognize. Spent $25 on a meal that came with a large pizza, breadsticks and cinnamon sticks, seemed like a good deal.
The pizza was not good. We ordered a half and half, with white sauce and pizza sauce. Neither half had hardly ANY sauce. Couldnât see or taste sauce on the half that was the white sauce. The other half had a tiny bit. Iâve also never seen a pizza with so little toppings. Youâd think they had to feed 10 customers and only had 1 handful left to divvy up
The cinnamon sticks are horrid. Iâve never tasted burnt plastic, but I am convinced this is what it would taste like. Tastes like straight chemicals.
The breadsticks were good.
I hope I havenât come off rude, I am just trying to leave an honest review. We may give them another shot, maybe the employee that made the pizza didnât care enough to put a normal amount of toppings on. Shouldâve taken a picture of the pizza, and shouldâve taken...
Read moreManager here is insanely rude and subpar when it comes to any sort of intelligence or social skills. Refusing to honor the promo YOU guys advertise- the bogo, arguing non stop and being rude the second she was called to speak with the customer? Wild. Also refused to give any information on who to contact above her, like she now owns the store? Appalling behavior. Good luck to this location with a horrible manager and food that isnât on par with any other Marcoâs. Yâall have been warned!
Edit: LMAO- nice try Tasha and Mckenzee aka the managerâs friends leaving a review right after mine pretending to âunderstandâ the coupon (it wasnât a coupon by the way- itâs a standing Tuesday promo) and highlighting how âkindâ the manager is. Nice spelling of âtryâsâ and âcostumersâ as well. Is this a costume place? Well yâall are...
