I happen to come across this place on my way to dinner, so on my way back, I stopped in for a little scare since they stay open later than most of the attractions in Salem. The nice young man who guided me through the haunted attraction was friendly, funny and had such great enthusiasm. I explained to him that I am a New Yorker, so nothing was really going to scare me. I will admit I had a couple of funny jump scares during the tour, but nothing that would make me scream in terror. For $15, the whole attraction probably takes about 10 minutes or so depending on how long you take walking the last part of the tour in the dark. Photos are not permitted, which is understandable as there is a live actor jumping out at you every now and again, so you don't want to drop your phone/camera and cause damage. Some people might be frightened by the jump scares, so it is advised that pregnant women and young children don't enter. The staff explained that during the busier season (Halloween), they have more actors in the haunted attraction to provide more jump scares. This attraction might not have been the best of the ones I have been to, but I thought it was really cute and worth checking out. I want to come back in the future during the busy season to really get the full effect of...
Read moreDid the Vampire Ghost Adventure Walking Tour and it was great. The stories were interesting and the tour guide (I’m terrible with names and forgot but I want to say Paul? Bc someone screamed it out to him as we were passing by) was so kind and did such a great job. I ended up on a tour by myself, I think just because it’s a Labor Day, a monday, and still early in the season so people don’t think it will be light out enough for kids or dark enough for adults at the 7 pm slot but I think it was the perfect time. Starts to get dark and things are fairly deserted so you get great photos of the area and the spooky ambiance is good but enough things are open to not be too scary and grab a drink after. I loved how chill the tour was and I got to ask questioned and they tell tales that feel more real than some of the more sensationalize tours. They also so scary stories and haunted house tours if you’re into the jump scare thing which I really want to check out another time. I wish there was an option to edit the tip o left when I paid bc I don’t carry cash and I wish I could have added to my tip after the fact. Would definitely do this at 5 or 7 with my 10year old or come back and the haunted house with my...
Read moreVisited 9.29.24 Night. This was a fun experience. I can understand some peoples frustrations with this as its not very long or a lot of things. However the actor inside was great and really made a nice experience for us. I think he did great and he was quite good. This is NOT a major haunted house like you may think. (Lots of actors, long walkthrough, 15 mins +, etc. etc.) While you may feel let down by that I still believe this was a fun experience. The staff inside at the register and the main manager I believe were friendly and a lot of fun. Its definitely something neat to check out. Its dark, has some fun effects and immersion. I have many years in the haunt industry and can appreciate what they did do with what and who they have. Would I go again? If I had free tickets or went with a group sure, its not bad. Otherwise probably not. Ill say I think this is more of "Haunted experience" more so than a Haunted house but nonetheless, I want to make sure its known I enjoyed myself and my girlfriend...
