I went on a Sunday to gat 3 things. By the time I got to the register the line was ALL the way to the back by the meat/cold cut Dept. I asked if there was someone else who could work the register. She lied & said NO. She called some man to the front, who was gathering online orders. This lady working the register refused to let me speak to him. Why did she call him to the front if she wasn't going to let me talk to him?!!!? This worker started ringing up the other customer's stuff in my tab. I told her that wasn't my stuff!!! I asked to speak with someone else she then called for someone to come out from the office. There were 2 PEOPLE THAT CAME OUT THE OFFICE. WHO COULD HAVE WORKED TO GET THE LINE DOWN. THANKS TO THE LADY IN LINE FOR LETTING ME GO AHEAD OF HER. . FIRST IF TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER THAN WHAT SHE DID. I SPEND MONEY HERE ALLLL THE TIME. NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD TO STAND IN A LINE LIKE THAT. AND ALDI WHY DO U WANT A LIAR WORKING FOR U?!? I HAD KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY. STANDING IN LONG LINES US SOMETHING I CANNOT DO. I WILL FIND ANOTHER ALDI STORE TO SHOP AT. DIDN'T CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY...
Read moreMy wife and I do shop at Aldi since most of the items are less expensive than at other grocery stores but we are always amazed at the fact that they discontinue products that their managers tell us sell very well.
Case in point…we were buying the Cold Smoked Salmon, commonly called Lox, every week. We would usually buy 2 or 3 packages every week but often they were sold out so we would buy more and freeze them when it was in stock.
The manager told us it most always sells out the day it comes in so he could not understand why it was discontinued.
Another case in point…we would buy 2 or 3 packages of the Cheese Blintzes every week for over a year. Then about a year ago I was told they cannot get them any longer. I asked if they were good sellers and was told they always sold out the day they came in. We can buy the same product at a supermarket nearby for $1.00 more but it annoys me that they discontinue good...
Read moreI may be biased in having moved from an area with a few Aldi's, but this is what Salisbury needed. They may not always stock the exact same brand name for items, but the items are generally always the same. It's a grocery store though, so you still have to compare prices to their competitors, sometimes others WILL be cheaper. I've been buying my Almond milk here since they opened for a dollar cheaper than any store in the area and for me that's worth the trip alone. Good selections on veg, fruits, meats but ESPECIALLY cheeses. Don't forget, bring your quarter for the cart and your reusable bags otherwise you will have to purchase bags. Staff is always friendly store is always clean and I'm always in and out in a...
