If it wasn’t for the three ladies at this location I would find a way to not give any stars! Those 3 have the best customer service ever. Amazing for a system that is truly messed up!!! On June 28th 2023 I entered the Salisbury My Eyelab for the appointment I had made online. I was greeted immediately and welcomed. I showed them my broken glasses and was taken back to the apartment. I was walked through the basic eye exam by a very patient and sweet assistant who took me into the exam room when we were done. I looked up and saw a TV and doctor displayed in the screen. Once I was positioned in the chair the doctor introduced himself and started the exam. I looked into the eye exam machine and told him if one looked better than the other as he moved the lens back and forth. Never at any point did I see a clear screen. I was only guessing at the letters. I told him this every time. He said it didn’t matter at that point. Okay. The assistant came back in and moved the board down to see about reading up close. Again, nothing was ever clear, which I told him. My glasses arrived on 8/7/2023 and I went with my grandson to pick them up. I put them on and everything had a blur to it. Much clearer than what I had before and certainly than without any glasses but for $391 not clear enough! So, my 4-year-old grandson has to be the bestest boy ever while his Grannie has to have another whole eye exam to see if there is a difference in the prescription. Yes, there was! So, send the glasses that just came in back to the factory. I call on 8/16/2023 to inquire about the status of my remake glasses. Wilmer, yes I wrote his name down to get it right, told me they had just received my glasses and the date for pickup was August 28th. That meant another 2 weeks and 30 days from my original appointment. I pointed that out and also these were remakes and he said that didn’t matter. That’s when they will be back in the store. Anyone who knows me knows that sentence did not sit well with me! I asked if he was in the store, he said Yes! I said good, I am coming to get a refund and I will ask for you Personally!!!! I did go to the store. I was greeted so nicely by those same 3 ladies. They explained the whole situation about the customer service center! They looked it up on the computer and saw the same information and made a call to see if they could get things moving a little faster right then and there!!! Great customer service!!! Fast forward, LOL, August 28. I go back to the store and ask if my glasses are there. NO!! They messed up one of the lenses and they might be in on the 29th. I ask for and receive a refund. BUT a they KEEP the $59 for the eye exam!!!!! The one they had to redo because the prescription was wrong in the fist place!!!!! For that $59 I am going to post this review...
Read moreThis is the best place for any vision needs 10/10 I definitely recommend i was in dire need of a Fast expeditious SAME DAY eye exam and a visual solution to correct my 20/70 vision which was mandatory for me to start this new job to provide for my family which i explained to Anna nd the entire staff unfortunately the only solution was to get contacts which is something foreign for me were i had no experience whatsoever in handling or caring for or maintaining honestly the thought of inserting any material(s) physically on top of my eyeball was something I was certain I would not be able to complete in the past so I always veered away from it however Anna and the crew at my eyelab were very supportive , helpful , informative, and empowering with this new endeavor I embarked upon with inserting contacts they were very patient in guiding me through right along my side in every trial and error as it seemed like forever it took me to finally successfully insert the accurately prescribed contacts on my eyeballs they were thorough in ensuring I could independently apply and remove the contacts before I left with them that same day Anna and all the staff there is amazing thanks to them I was able to return to the work place and medically cleared to start work Monday thanks a million Anna and all the staff at my eyelab in Salisbury nc yall all deserve a raise and another raise as id advice the powers that be at my eye lab y’all have amazing workers right now take care of them so they can wanna stay and continue making that establishment leave an AMAZING taste in one’s mouth 👍👍 thousand thumbs up for Anna and all the staff at this location I can’t wait to go back and handle all of my eye care needs with y’all ! Read moreRecently I visited the Eye Lab in Salisbury, NC to get a new pair computer/reading glasses. When I explained that I have an excellent far vision but need help with near vision only they suggested I try contacts that will handle both situations. After a full eye exam, for which I was grateful as it also screened for common eye diseases, we got down to business of selecting what I need. My main issue was having to repeatedly put on glasses for near office work. Now, I will admit that I am not the easiest customer they ever had, and am pretty demanding in what I want. Nevertheless, the store team, specifically, Shareene, and Ana, went out of their way to explain numerous options, their pros and cons, as well as costs associated. This helped me decide what is best for me. In the end I got two pairs of computer glasses, a free eye exam, and 12 months of multi focal contacts.
I should mention that I had previously visited Lens Crafters and Modern Eye Care, and neither made me feel comfortable that they wanted to find the best solution for me. It was clear to me that selling most dollars was their goal, and not necessarily helping me. Eye Lab was a refreshing experience in this regard. By understanding my needs, educating me, and presenting me with clear options I purchased 2X more than I originally planned, mainly because I needed to be educated on what can be accomplished nowadays.
