Absolutely the worst experience Iâve ever had at a restaurant. My husband and I thought we would go eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Salisbury, NC. It was a rainy lazy day for us and were wearing our sweats/pajama pants. Well when we pulled in the shopping center my husband saw Chipotle and said he wanted that, but I still wanted the Buff. So I dropped him off at Chipotle and told him to just meet me down there with his food. When I walked into Buffalo Wild Wings I stood there for a few minutes and then a young black gentleman came over. He looked at me (seemingly disappointed) and asked if I was dining in or getting a To-go and I replied dining in. Then ( I think he asked me how many) Iâm honestly not sure because his back was to me the whole time he spoke, trying to get menus. So I told him I said there will be 2 please but Iâll only need 1 menu because the person that will be joining me was getting food from somewhere else. My waiter proceeded to take me to a table without saying anything about outside food not being allowed. He acted like he didnât want to wait on me ? I had to ask him if I could get the pretzel for my appetizer. My husband then came into the restaurant with his Chipotle bag in hand, and my waiter brought him over to the table AGAIN without saying anything about outside food not being allowed. The waiter then goes, I guess, to say something to his manager. Because as the waiter was taking my order, and of course my husband had started eating his food, this manager came over and asked us if that was from somewhere else and my husband said yes itâs from your neighbor. The manager then tells my husband and I that he will not be allowed to have outside food in there. So as I sat there in shock my husband asked, so you want us to leave? (kind of in shock himself) He told them if I leave Iâll be taking your business with me. At that point the manager decided that was ok and told us we had to leave. Being in the management field I couldnât imagine having a paying customer be treated like that. For that, I will not spend another penny within this establishment. My waiter was racist and judged me from the beginning, because I came in a white girl wearing some sweat pants and a T-shirt. I can tell you this, you shouldnât judge a book by its cover, because today for myself alone I wouldâve spent at least $40 after an appetizer, meal, dessert and beverage. My family and I were just in there Monday, May 27 and spent over $100. The decision that was made to kick us out, for, supposedly, having food from another restaurant, that is a neighbor of yours, will not only have you losing my business, but the business of several other families that I know!! (and anymore that I can share my experience with). I mean what do you do when picky kids bring in a kids meal from somewhere else? Do you kick them out? No, I doubt it. My waiter was racist and judgmental, because of our skin color and our outfits and he targeted my husband and I and the manager was...
Read moreMy experience with Buffalo Wild Wings left me greatly disappointed and frustrated. I recently applied for a position at one of their locations, eager to join their team and contribute to the fun atmosphere their establishments are known for. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism I encountered during the hiring process was truly disheartening.
Firstly, the lack of communication from Buffalo Wild Wings was concerning. After submitting my application online, I expected some acknowledgment or confirmation of receipt, but received no response. I diligently followed up with a phone call and was told that my application was under review, and I would be contacted for an interview. However, I never received any further communication or updates regarding my application status. This lack of communication displayed a disregard for the time and effort I had put into the application process.
Furthermore, I believe there was a lack of professionalism in the way my interview was conducted. When I finally had the opportunity to interview, the hiring manager appeared disinterested and distracted throughout the entire process. It was clear that they had not even reviewed my application or resume, as they asked basic questions that were already answered within my application materials. This lack of preparedness and attention to detail left me feeling undervalued as a potential employee.
The final blow came when I chased up about the outcome of my application. After multiple attempts to contact the hiring manager, I eventually received a curt and impersonal email stating that they had decided to pursue other candidates without providing any feedback or explanation. This lack of feedback reflected a lack of respect for the time I invested in the application process and left me feeling deflated. I cannot overlook the unprofessional and disorganized hiring experience I encountered. The lack of communication, unprepared interviewers, and impersonal rejection all contributed to my dissatisfaction with the company's hiring practices. I hope they take steps to improve their professionalism and transparency in the future, as this will greatly enhance the overall...
Read moreI placed an order through the app. I arrived to pick up my food at the correct time. Once inside the restaurant I only saw one waitress and two seated tables while waiting. I waited 10 minutes for someone to come from the back of the restaurant to greet me. She asked my name and handed me a bag. I told her that I ordered a drink and she said that it wasnât on the order but made one for me anyway. I made it back to my house before opening the bag and seeing wings. I had ordered street tacos. I drove back to the restaurant and saw my bag sitting on the pickup rack. I had to wait more than 5 minutes this time before being greeted. I told the same person that she gave me the wrong food and would like my food remade since I had a salad and fresh ingredients that had been sitting for more than 30 minutes by this point. She sighed and left without saying anything. The manager then came to greet me just to tell me that they were only making wings and fries so I could have that or a refund. I asked for a refund. She then explained that it would be 5-10 days for my refund to be back in my bank. I asked for a receipt, email, or some other form of proof that my refund is attempting to be process. She then explained to me that they couldnât process the return until the next day and to call back if I didnât see my refund in 5 days to ensure they remembered to do it. Which could then take 5-10 days from that day if theyâre registers are working properly that day. I had already refused to eat at this establishment due to lack of waiters and waitresses with exaggerated wait times. Now I refuse to be back for take out as well. I would not be surprised if they remain open...
