I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the pharmacy service at Walgreens since I relocated here from VA. It is evident that this particular branch is in dire need of improvement and a fresh approach. I have encountered numerous issues during my visits, including prolonged waiting times, a lack of understanding regarding coupons, and untimely notifications.
One of the most pressing concerns is the extensive waiting time for prescription fulfillment. Each time I visit the store, it takes an astonishingly long period of 30 to 45 minutes to have my prescription filled. Comparatively, in VA, I would typically wait no more than 5 to 15 minutes for the same service. This stark difference is disheartening and reflects poorly on the efficiency of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location.
Furthermore, I have experienced inconvenience when receiving notifications. It is particularly frustrating to receive a message on my phone, indicating that my prescription is ready for pick-up, right at the closing time of 10 PM. This practice adds unnecessary stress and prevents me from promptly accessing the medication I need.
Another area of concern is the lack of proficiency among the staff when it comes to understanding how coupons should be applied. This creates additional inconveniences for customers who rely on these discounts to manage their healthcare expenses. Proper training and education should be provided to the employees to ensure they are well-versed in coupon procedures, thereby avoiding any confusion or misunderstandings.
Given the ongoing nature of these issues, I have taken the liberty of emailing the corporate headquarters to file a formal complaint about the persistent problems at this Walgreens branch. I strongly encourage other individuals who have encountered similar difficulties with this specific location to do the same. By collectively bringing attention to these matters, we hope to motivate necessary changes and enhancements in the quality of service provided.
In conclusion, I urge you to thoroughly assess and address the concerns I have highlighted in order to significantly improve the pharmacy service at Walgreens. Timely prescription fulfillment, improved communication, and a clear understanding of coupon procedures are crucial for the satisfaction of customers. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope to witness positive changes in the near future.

Read moreCalled about my prescription, was told it would be ready the next day. Find out next day it was out of stock and never fulfilled. I called again the following two days and each day was told it would be ready the next day but actually was still out of stock. Now my meds are 4 days late and I’m going without them.
Line of cars wrapping the building at the pharmacy window. Went inside. Was told it would be ready by 11am today when I called. Waited on line for an hour at the pharmacy. Before I even got to the counter I saw a woman walk away about to cry, no meds or purchase made. Only one technician assisting customers at the desk. After waiting an hour I find it’s not ready at 5pm with over an hour estimated wait time. I can no longer rely on wait times being accurate. I have to assume I’m going on day 5+ without these meds which is affecting my life.
Staff is obviously very hardworking and stressed, and Walgreens chooses to keep the pharmacy purposely understaffed as these issues have been happening for months. I can’t imagine they are unable to find staff if they wanted to, but maybe they don’t want to pay a reasonable wage for the positions needed or schedule enough coverage. Anyone with a child-like sense of business would see the amount of customers that pickup medications here daily and staff accordingly for a reasonable experience.
Walgreens, do right by your pharmacists, technicians and customers. Some other company will love to fulfill my lifelong prescription I’m sure and I’ll go out of my way to them if I have to have a...
Read moreI had worst experience ever here today I went to return a passport photo that didn’t meet requirements by my passport agency. He told me that they didn’t check the photo properly so the photo didn’t followed guidelines. So he told me to take it back there and I did. I went back and told them what happened. Told them I wanted a refund and the girl that was helping us who said she was the manager there and her named is “Cassie” was so disrespectful and rude to us the whole time we were there. She basically yell at us and said she didn’t care also told us she basically didn’t want to help us anymore. She left us standing there and someone else had to finish us up. But told her employees that she was leaving and didn’t care then kept arguing with me once I told her that she shouldn’t be treating customers disrespectful and rudely like this. All she said was like “so what I don’t care”! That was the worst experience I ever experienced today from this store. Even her employees were shocked at the whole thing and everyone in the store was shaking their head. She should not be in charge if she has that type of attitude especially towards customers. You open a business to welcome customers not to disrespect and be rude to them. No one should ever come here this worst place and experience ever. Cassie you are horrible person I hope karma come back at you on how you...
