Unfortunately they lost the low-cost loving feeling that made shopping here so fun. They used to have that wow factor on shoes and clothes but no more. A place called Burlington stepped into town and their prices seem to be like Marshalls used to be. For some reason they don't mark down stuff like they used to. Gone are the days you can get brand name sneakers like Adidas, Puma, Skechers and Nike for under 29 .99 or less. Also they don't have as many jeans like Levi's along the same deal 29.99 or less. Also they've dropped a lot of larger sizes they seem to not have 2X 3x and 4x as much as they used to have when it comes to shirts. Burlington and Hamrick's have better prices and larger man sizes. I don't know what happened why they got so high but they priced themselves out of the market. I've noticed Burlington has Levi's and some name-brand shirts and also shoes for as little as 1999 or less. With Marshalls they seem like they're stopping point now is 2999. They need to tone down their prices like they used to. It's not a very good bang for the buck anymore. Bring back that low-cost loving feeling. You would think with Burlington coming to town they would have tried to impress us with that again. But for some reason they went up not down. Might want to skip this place till they get it back. It's also worth the trip to go to Hamrick's in Winston Salem. And you don't have to go very far now there's a Burlington Outlet here in Salisbury. Also the Ross store at Concord Mills has better bargains. May you seek your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ daily. May God be with us in this crucial time in...
Read moreI havenât been n Marshallâs for a long time. So Im looking for Athletic tennis shoes. I went in saw the whole store has been reset from what it used to be.No athletic shoes I liked. So I stroll thru the store looking for weight lifting gloves for women. There were so many kids in this store screaming n crying. I got so sick n tired of hearing them. The parents did nothing to control their kids. Lotta kids playing in the makeup when they should not just tearing up product. I finally looked up n said, I wish these kids n here would behave n stop screaming n cryingâ when I did there were 6-9 other shoppers nodding in agreement about it. They too were ready to leave. I looked around some more & got a couple things to purchase n actually Marshallâs shouldâve paid me for enduring the crying n screaming I had to deal w/ trying to shop. I got to the checkout the cashier young black lady was nice & she noticed empty packaging in bottom of my buggy which I hadnât noticed. I do not steal ppl. My daddy taught me better than that. She proceeded to ask me if I had what was n the packaging I replied no I donât know what that was n that I would Not steal anything. I came in empty handed n would not steal from the store. She was smirky w/ me n I didnât appreciate it. I will NEVER shop this store again. I will go elsewhere. I would not recommend this...
Read more(If this were my 1st/only visit, score would be 1 or 2) I love Marshall's: what it sells, the variety, its prices. Thx for that & those emps suffering thru the mad rush the media calls Christmas now. BUT set aside the credit card/financial policies that dont support the true Marshall's consumer. What cut my spending short is the condition of the Salisbury store. In all the mad rushes I've experienced this is worse than all combined. My rushed pics dont do justice. 1/2 empty coffee cup in the shoes. Perfumes, lotions, hair products, opened and smeared onto shelves. Clothes all over floor everywhere. I wouldn't buy items for fear of what buyers/browsers had done to them because it's funny...they're mad....they're ignorant, selfish...whatever. Worst of all-Marshall's is letting it happen. They have "gym dressed" floor employees but they arent stopping it or cleaning it up. I could go on and on but I will just stick to the facts. Marshall's, bring me in; let me organize/fix this for u. I'd love to do it...I'm good at it but most importantly to bring back the chaotic joy I used to get when...
