I am writing to share my recent experience at this studio today, which I found to be very disappointing and concerning.

I visited for a restorative yoga class and, upon arrival, discovered I did not have my yoga mat with me. I approached the staff member at the front desk to rent a mat, expecting a warm and accommodating response, as is typical in most yoga studios.

Sadly, I was met with a snappy and rude attitude. The staff member informed me that I did not have a card on file and, shot me a dirty look. I explained that I could pay through Apple Pay, which is accepted almost everywhere, but she refused and continued to make me feel uncomfortable. When I asked for a potential solution—she simply snapped that she didn’t know what to tell me.

The lack of any helpful response was shocking. I came to your studio for a restorative experience, primarily to deal with chronic pain, yet I left feeling more stressed out and unwelcome than when I arrived.

I find it unacceptable that a $3 mat rental could lead to such an unfriendly and dismissive treatment, especially as a returning customer. I have never experienced such behavior at any studio before, and it truly made me feel like an intruder rather than a valued guest.

After this encounter, I have decided that I will not be returning to your studio. I would not recommend it to others based on my experience, as the lack of courtesy and accommodation is disheartening.

I hope you take this feedback to heart and work on improving the atmosphere of your studio, as it could greatly benefit from a more welcoming and friendly approach. I hope the woman with dark/purple ish hair does not make anyone else as...

I recently had the most amazing experience at YogaSix in Sugar House, and it was all thanks to the incredible yoga instructor, Mica! I can confidently say that this studio is a hidden gem, and Mica's classes are an absolute must-try.

From the moment I stepped into the studio, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable practice. The ambiance was calming, with soft lighting and soothing music, setting the perfect tone for a rejuvenating session.

Now, let's talk about Mica – the star of the show! Her expertise and passion for yoga shine through in every class. Mica's teaching style is not only engaging but also deeply inspiring. She has a natural ability to guide us through each pose with clear instructions, making even the most challenging postures accessible to all levels of practitioners.

What I truly appreciate about Mica is her ability to infuse mindfulness and spirituality into the practice. Her words of wisdom and intention setting at the beginning of each class set the tone for a transformative experience. I left Mica's class feeling more grounded, balanced, and at peace with myself.

YogaSix in Sugar House itself is a well-maintained and clean studio, equipped with everything a yogi could wish for. The variety of class offerings seams amazing and i can wait to go back and try them...

I took a class here a couple years ago. It was fine enough but the instructor, Whitney, made several objectifying and offensive comments including that "you've gotta squeeze your booty or no one else will" as if the goal of bettering out physical health was actually about achieving aesthetic ideals of thinness to become worthy of love from others. I asked her about it after the class and she seemed very offended.

It was irritating but I only became angry when they started calling me afterward to try to get me to come back or at least change my opinion. They called both me and my friend (who was also offended but didn't say anything) who came to class with me. They called and texted me for weeks. I made it clear that I had no interest in speaking to them but they wouldn't take no for an answer.

Since then I have received many text messages about their newest deals despite responding "STOP" to many of them and blocking their numbers repeatedly.

The initial event happened years ago at this point. I really don't care anymore but I am STILL receiving text messages from them. 1 star for consent. NO means NO. Please stop...
