LeeLee — Local services in San Antonio

First off I love shopping at local businesses as I myself work for one. I enjoy strolling around the pearl after work. I get out a little late so I never make it during business hours, but I always pass by and admire the shoes. So on my day off I was excited to give this place a stop. My boyfriend and I walked in on Thursday, June 14th. The first thing we noticed was that there was no music, just complete silence and we were the only customers. We were greeted with a simple hello and my boyfriend helped him self to a seat while I browsed the shoes. The owner just stared at my boyfriend which made him uncomfortable, then she kept focus eyes on me while I walked around the store but never offered any customer service. I saw these beautiful shoes and was admiring them. The owner never asked if I would like to try them on, which I did but I was too uncomfortable to ask. Then another customer walks in, she is an older lady dressed fancy, the owner greets her so enthusiastic with a big welcome. She helps out the customer immediately, asks for her shoe size and runs to the back to grab shoes. If you do not come here wearing your diamonds and pearls, they assume you cannot afford to buy anything so they won't even bother to help you. Luckily I remember the brand name of the shoes I was interested in: Swedish Hasbeens , so I can purchase them...

Extremely disappointed. Came in last week looking for shoes in a pinch with my friend and from the moment we walked in we were immediately looked at as if we were there to steal merchandise. Mind you we were the only two in the store at the time not once were we offered help. I told my friend very bluntly that we should leave as I felt extremely uncomfortable as we were both minorities. Fyi nothing in that store would be worth stealing anyways let alone buying...
