BEWARE!!!

Read the reviews for Dr Holck. As of today, he has 2.5/5 stars and all the negative reviews there match my experience.

They are actively managing their reviews (they even have signs with QR codes trying to get people to write favorable reviews at checkout).

This business has 2 doctors and both have separate review pages here on Google Maps. This business page that is rated at 3.8 doesn’t reflect the totality of the experiences.

My experience is that this practice shows utter disdain for its patients. They simply don’t care about you or value your time. They’re also rude.

If I could give zero stars, I would. But don’t just take my word for it… look up Dr Holck’s reviews at this same address.

I have documented evidence that the Dr falsified medical records related to my visit.

He checked a box saying I had a “level 4” 45 minute visit. He spent 3 minutes with me at best.

He didn’t even fully understand my issue or what I’d been told. His assistant who did my procedure had a different take and they had to reconcile.

Dr Holck did surgery on my right eye lid a year ago. It made a big difference in my eyesight, was very pleased with the outcome. Went back a few months ago and a determination was made that more surgery was needed. I waited a few weeks for insurance approval. Called and was told no approval yet. Called again a few weeks later, same answer. I finally called my insurance company to see what the problem was. Insurance company informed me that a approval request was never submitted! I called Dr Holck’s office right away, of course I got transferred to voice mail. I left a detailed message, never got a return phone call! End of June I get a copy of insurance approval letter, I call office again only to get transferred to voicemail. Still no return phone call! I called again, finally spoke with office manager about it. He was gonna have someone call me……. Still no return call………If there is a problem with something, let me know. Very unprofessional to...

I had a positive experience at Eyeplastx, with Dr. DeBacker. He performed surgery on my drooping eyelid (ptosis). The drooping eyelid was impacting my vision as well as my appearance. I am sooo very grateful to him for the specialized wonderful skills he has and for the correction of the ptosis in such a way that my eye looks very natural now! I appreciated his use of natural means to help with possible bleeding and bruising……such as vitamin C supplementation and eating of fresh pineapple. Add to the list of positives: Dr. DeBacker very pleasant, personal and nice. As well, my experience was that the support staff and medical assistants were nice, competent, and personal, too.
