I just spent over $1,600 to have my fish processed and I did not get what I asked for. If you value your fish do not use this company. I requested one and 2 pound packages with only a few 2 lb. packages because there are only 2 of us in my household when I was going to give away the 2 pound packages to our friends who have bigger families. Not only did I not get even one, 1 pound package, all of the packages were over two and a half pounds with several being 3 and a half pounds. What am I supposed to do now when I go thaw out and open a package I use half of the package or less and the rest is going to have to be either given away at that moment, or thrown out. I went inside and told the lady who took the order at the pier we have a problem I told you when you took my order I wanted only a few 2 pound packages and the rest 1 pound packages what do I do now? She looked at me like she didn't understand (which she didn't seem like she understood english very well at the pier) now seeing and hearing her in the office I could see she doesn't understand very well. I turned to the other lady and said what do I do? I have too large of packages for me to use. In my house we are only 2 people and she just looked me and walked into the office when she realised what a huge mistake this young girl did. I had over 850 pounds of fish to process. I had to stay overnight in a hotel to wait for my fish to be processed and frozen because I had an 8 and a half hour drive to get home and needed it frozen to make that long of a trip. I looked around the room and everyone that was within hearing distance all of a sudden had leave the area and there was no one to speak to except the girl that couldn't speak very good english. Since I had already paid for everything no one was willing to fix the situation and the girl had no idea what to do. I explained to her where she made the mistake and she showed me on the paperwork where she took the weight of the fish and it was marked 2 pound packages I tried to explain to her just because you wrote it down incorrectly because you didn't understand what I said, thinking you did understand, it's not my fault. Her response was "it says two pound packages here." I go fishing out of point loma 2 or 3 times a year and have yet to come back with less than 500 pounds of fish to process. I even used this place last October and I asked then only for 1 pound packages and ended up getting over a third of my fish in two pounds or more size packages. I thought I would give them another chance. What a huge mistake. Never again will I use this company and will tell everyone I fish with to not use them. Not only did they mess up and not offer to fix it, they are the most expensive of the processing...
Read moreDO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! We called them 2 days PRIOR to our fishing trip to find out hours and how we could utilize their services. They seemed great! We then made online reservation, went by their facility yesterday to see where it was and make sure they were going to be there today when we got off the boat advised we’d be there between 7pm-8pm the lady said absolutely they will be there. We got off the boat rushed over there to take the fish before we jumped on another boat and the place was shut down, no one was there. NO way of getting ahold of anyone. We then had to scramble to find a different place to drop off our fish at to make sure we made it back in time to get on the next boat.

Read moreI would pass on these guys if I were you. To be fair they did a good job on processing my 170lb bluefin and it was done quickly. The problem I had was trying to ship 20lbs worth to AZ to my sister. At the office the young lady there told me it would be shipped and arrive on the next Sunday. A week and a half later my shipment still had not arrived. It took 6 phone calls and two messages to get a hold of someone who told me she was not familiar with their shipping arrangements and she would have a manager call me back. I never received a call from the manager so I called back 5 more times to finally get someone who explained to me that they don't ship on weekends and the receptionist made an error. That's fine mistakes happened but my fish was sitting there for a whole week and it took all this hassle to finally have my order shipped 9 days later. I will not be back.
