If you’re into real barrel aged sours this place is worth stopping in. They have two locations so if you’re looking for tons of people on a given night and good drinks look to the OB taproom, but if you want to sip some sours with a little more intimate atmosphere this is industrial spot is where you want to be. Although the GIANT screen they does makes it a potentialhot spot for sports nights and I hear Phish concerts. Beers - like a true sour beer establishment, lots of fun experimentation, and a brewer that is critical and excited about what they are pouring. The most notable on my visit was the locally sourced dragon fruit (red pitaya) which had almost some blueberry notes due to the souring and the German Chocolate Cake which was both rich and mildly sweet but perfectly balanced where I could see having multiple pours without a creeping saturation due to sweetness. The Yerba Matte was also excellent, lite, fizzy with some citrus and mint notes, definitely a beer I’d enjoy on a warm day. If you aren’t a sour drinker their Clean Beers, or at least the IPA I had was spot on; crisp, floral and to my preference, lacking a heavy sweet backbone.

If you are in the area, make sure to stop by this creatively inspired Brewery. A Graphic designer Chicago native, (the owner) moved to California to start his dream and raise a family. His thoughtful design and warm family friendly environment makes this place welcoming and a joy to be around! While my family and I were In town for the Bears game, we were enticed by the eclectic and colorful ambience while walking by. (Free hot dogs served on game days were really just icing on the cake!) Little kids were whizzing by on wheeled stools, we took a jump back in time to enjoy coloring books, bar games, blocks, a Lego wall and alphabet wall, a mirrored wall with a beautiful crystal chandelier and adorable hanging plants, and enjoyed the view of cozy corners of couches with people gathered around laughing, cheering and watch their kids play-> You really cannot look for a better place to be and enjoy time with those you love! 🫶🏼 Thank you for an amazing memorable experience during our stay, we will never forget it and can't wait to come back!

My dear friend took me here after she had discovered them at the San Diego Beerfest. I have always been more of a wine drinker but was open to trying something new while I was visiting. Oh my sour goodness!!! The beer was so delicious. I love that you can taste both fruit and the sour. It has a beautiful balance of both. Will definitely be back for more on my next visit. One of the owners was nice enough to let me have a sticker for my bike ♥️ Update: I just had the pleasure of returning to the brewery yesterday. What a beautiful job they have done with the place. The booths looked great and are very comfortable. The beer selection has grown since my visit so of course I tried them all! Cherry Puree and Pink Lemonade..yum!!! Thank you for your knowledge and hospitality. I will be back soon!

I just stopped in today on lunch, I was looking for something new. There is a lot around this area (Miramar, Miramesa, Sorrento Valley) in the way of Breweries, that I haven't tried. None of which would have such an abundance of Sours. I'm not generally a sour fan, but they won me over with the Citrus Xplosion. Primarily lemons, it's a clean and clear beer that's very easy to drink. A perfect entry drink for non-sour beer fans.

Zack and Bill were super kind and greeted me as a friend. These guys embody the idea of the American Dream. Does a brewery you frequent not have the beer you like? Well then just make your own brewery and brew them yourself. It just makes sense.

I will definitely go back anytime.

If you're not a fan of sours, still stop in. Sierra Nevada has collaborated with breweries across California. They have foot the bill for the ingredients to their IPA Resilience. CWA is brewing Sierra Nevada's beer in support of the NorCal Wild Fire victims. It's a worthy cause, and it's an IPA, which all of San Diego beer snobs love. And you'd be supporting a budding local business. Which benefits all San Diegans.

Sincerely, A non-sour fan turned into a sour fan.

p.s. I'm sorry if my dumb monkey brain forgot your names or...

Will NEVER frequent this establishment again. We were attending the OB market on 8/9/23 and had my 7 month pregnant friend along. She desperately needed to use the rest room so we decided to pop in to buy someone at the bar a drink so she could use their facilities. The line was understandably long and we were waiting with her in line in case she needed assistance. The bartender approached to let us know that the bathrooms were for paying customers only. We explained that as soon as she used the bathroom we would happily buy someone at the bar a drink and that this was an emergency. He rudely gestured for her to get out of line and purchase the drink before using the bathroom. I told him I would happily provide my card and to place an order for any drink for whomever at the bar so she could use the bathroom and he said she couldn't use it until something has been bought. She is 7 MONTHS pregnant and he gave zero consideration for her condition or our willingness to buy something. I have never encountered a more rude or disrespectful employee in the service industry. We will never return to this establishment and will continue to post on all of our social media's about the awful treatment and...
