I went to Jerome's this past Monday, intending only to browse for a possible new recliner and loveseat for my apartment. While I wasn't greeted at the door, a salesman named Rammy approached me as I was looking around and introduced himself. I told him what I was looking for and asked if there were any deals. He was very helpful in showing me where things were. Being the introvert that I am, I appreciated that he let me walk around and take my time trying out their selection of floor models. He checked in on me from time to time but I never felt rushed or pressured into making a purchase. I hadn't planned on purchasing anything that day but I fell in love with the Blythe leather chair and matching loveseat set. While it was expensive and more than I'd wanted to spend, I decided it was worth it in the long run. Rammy was very helpful and patient with me as I made my purchase. He set me up for a delivery 3 days later and I was on my way.

While the prices are quite expensive for a lot of their products, I had a very pleasant experience. The delivery came on the date scheduled. They texted and emailed me the day before to confirm and arrived within their projected time frame. Leo and Jesus handled my items with care, allowing me to put my personal stick on pads on the base so it wouldn't scratch the hardwood floors. They were in and out in under 20 minutes. Quick and painless!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I walked in to look for potential furniture in the store was met by an Hispanic employee wearing a lot of gold who was incredibly rude & sexist. He asked if I needed help with anything while I was with my husband who was walking up a little ahead and as were looking at furniture still and I respond “no we’re just looking” he then rudely said “where I’m from you face a man while talking” he was not even making eye contact with ME he was looking down the entire time, I was shocked and confused about the disrespect as we had just walked into the store from the mall to just look at furniture to see if they by chance had anything we’d be interested in for our new home moving here to San Diego. I told my husband I wanted to leave immediately because obviously that rude individual has no customer service training and I didn’t want any problems while still shopping for furniture I’m not sure if this is the Jerome furniture standard but that has strayed me from ever going to a Jerome’s furniture again and sharing my experience about my first time visiting the store and being excited because I always wanted to see what furniture they had since I moved here but I am okay there are other furniture stores where the employees treat you with basic...
