I travel for work and decided to get my nails done here out of convenience. Upon arrival I was ignored for 3 mins (3 mins is a very long time to be in front of a customer and not acknowledge them, try staring at someone for 3 mins and see how long it feels) while these ladies spoke in their native language as they walked to the register. I was not greeted or asked for a moment. It was so unbelievably unprofessional, I started to believe they were intentionally ignoring me in hopes that I would walk away which I would've done had I not walked 20 mins from my hotel. The ladies that did my nails were mild mannered and seemed nice however I am not happy with my gel coming off within 2 hours of getting them done. I believe they weren’t properly applied on there to begin with.I paid $120 for an SNS and European pedicure and I tipped $10 per person and I was not inlove with the work. Now I am back home and preparing for vacation and I am highly disappointed and sad that I got my nails done here and they didnt even last before leaving san diego. I would not recommend this place. Also the older lady at the front fanned the ladies that was doing my nails to take me to the chair in the back of the salon instead of the front where they were leading me to. I really hope this wasn’t prejudice because I am a young dark complexion black girl that you dont want displayed at the front of your store or youre prejudging if I would be good business.I am a young professional and would not recommend this place. Especially if you’re traveling and cannot go back to have them fix their lack luster work. Bad service and hospitality and bad work is unacceptable.

Update: I changed my review from 1 star to 5. I came back today and they did a new dip powder set for me (done by Gina) and were very apologetic about my last experience. My nails look soooo much better :) Ive been here a handful of times because it’s conveniently located near me. The first time the service was okay, the second time my gel manicure chipped on 3 different nails after three days (which they fixed reluctantly) and this time my dip manicure looks completely sloppy. When I sat down, I was given a little cardboard with about 9 color options. I asked if this was all the options and my nail tech said yes so I then said that I’ll just do gel since not many options are available for dip powder. The nail tech proceeded to get up (I guess to switch techs since I didn’t want dip anymore) and say that it’s the same color options for gel polish. However, the last few times I was here, I was given like 5 sets of 20+ color options… The lady that sat down next to me was given SO many colors to pick from. So that was weird. I went ahead and just did the dip powder since the last time I got gel here it chipped after three days. The tech also used the harshest drill around my cuticles leaving little cuts. Overall my nails just look sloppy and I won’t be back. Not worth $55 at all.

I had my nails and toes down about a week ago. I had a great experience with the pedicurist, but the lady who did my nails with glasses was terrible. Worst manicure I have ever gotten. I came in wanting acrylic and the lady pushed gel x hard. Then when she actually did my nails the tips she put on did not fit my nails properly and were not glued on in the natural direction but rather facing up. The reason why I am posting is that what really bothered me is that as soon as she was done she dipped and put a face mask on me like she knew they were bad. When the mask was taken off she was gone, no question if they were good or not. Long story short, they were terrible ugly and not done properly when close up (I get my nails done often) and have fallen off within the week). She wanted 70 dollars which is also absurd. With tip it was close to $100 for nails alone. She didn’t even clean up my cuticles. So incredibly disappointing. Was in town for a business trip and had to have them on all week since I didn’t have time to revisit.

I was so excited to get my nails done here - i had been waiting until i passed an exam to treat myself, and well - it was a big let down. very average. i went on a monday, midday, they werent busy & i walked right in. i wanted just a gel mani & pedi. i was not offered a drink - even though the 2 other clients had a mimosa & a bottle of water. i was given the menu for my pedi, but not my mani & they wanted to do the mani, in the pedi spa chair - which i dont like, but agreed to. then the nail tech kept telling me i had dip that needed to be removed - i didnt just gel and she insisted on wrapping them in acetone to remove, even though the place where i previously had them done removes the gel just with the drill. then she didnt ask me what type of shape i wanted (i had LONG coffin nails) i told her i wanted to cut them down and she started using the drill to shorten them to all different lengths without asking how short. finally i show her how short i want them and then she proceeds to cut them, but doesnt measure them so they are still all different lengths. the color that i chose, was nothing like the color chart, so after only 1 coat on 1 nail i wanted to change it. because the color i changed to was white - she just used some gloppy white that was at the station instead of getting the little gel white kit. so i came in w beautiful nails & left w an uneven shortie cut & lumpy polish. meanwhile - idk whats happening w my pedi bcuz i cant see what she is doing (since they are doing my nails at the same time). the foot massage was nice and long (not firm, just longer than average), but hardly any cuticle was trimmed off & one nail is short & crooked (i only had them filed, not cut). the 2 ladies that came in during my time were both offered a bottle of water. they dont take amex - ok no problem, but you have to tip cash or venmo, which is super annoying. all in all, pleasant nail techs but average work. there are too many places in the vicinity to return for average - ill go back...

Review for a LV Nail Salon

I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting LV Nail Salon and I can confidently say this was the best nail salon experience I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is tranquil, clean, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect environment to unwind and pamper yourself.

The staff at LV Nail Salon go above and beyond to ensure every customer feels valued and cared for. Mia took the time to ask about my preferences, offered helpful recommendations, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Her attention to detail and professionalism are superb.

The range of services they offer is impressive, catering to every need from classic manicures to intricate nail art. I chose the gel French manicure and the results were stunning. Mia was highly skilled and precise bringing my vision to life flawlessly. Not only do my nails look gorgeous, but the products they used were top-quality, leaving my nails strong and healthy. I was convinced to get the Deluxe Pedicure and it was expensive but well worth every minute. Honestly, it was the best pedicure of my life thanks to Katie.

Hygiene and sanitation are clearly a top priority at LV Nail Salon. All tools were sterilized, and the workspace was meticulously clean. It’s reassuring to see such high standards being upheld.

Another highlight of my visit was their use of premium products and a soothing foot massage that made the experience even more indulgent. It’s clear that Katie's focus is on providing a luxurious and personalized experience for every customer.

If you’re looking for a salon that combines incredible craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, and a serene atmosphere, look no further than LV Nail Salon. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment! Highly...
