Okay, I did have a positive review before but I think it depends on on the person. Judy takes her time and gives the best experiences! Ann is so good too. This last time I went I paid for a luxury manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was definitely luxury but the manicure...yeah I felt so rushed! It started with soaking my hands in cold water for like 15 seconds and then she decided instead of using a cuticle cutter to use a drill. She nicked me a few times. The massage was just some sugar scrub rubbed and then taken off. It lasted maybe less than 20 min. And I got gel. I use to love this place but it sucks that my gel manicure only lasted 2 days and it's already chipping... the longevity with this same lady (she did my nails last time too and I had acrylic) isn't good. My cuticles look terrible. I paid $122! I think if you go with Ann and Judy you will get your money's worth but please avoid Helen....she also loves to text while in the middle of doing my nails and yeah just felt if was very rushed...Judy is amazing for pedicures though. So I'm conflicted with the rating. I guess I just won't be getting my...
Read moreThe area and space were nice, they have complementary drinks and the space is very clean. The young guy who did my pedicure I forgot his name but he did a good job but one of my toes since the pedicure has been hurting and it’s been over a week. we were a group from out of town and had a party of 5 so we made a reservation a week ago online and received a confirmation email and when we arrived , we weren't in the system , but thankfully we were still accommodated for. I got dipped nails, and the color is very nice but the manager he was rough on my Hands. I have 3 different cuts and when he was using the nail filer machine. I could feel the heat from him having it at too high of a speed and it burned really bad through my nail beds. I noticed after getting my nails done I had a chip already in one of my nails. Overall even with the discounted price it was expensive and I’ve had my nails done at other nail salons in San Diego and have had better service unfortunately for a...
Read moreWill not be returning to this salon. Overall the salon is clean and a relaxing environment. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. First of all, they charge extra for cutting cuticles and a massage on top of the manicure and pedicure that you’re already paying for, which I normally can just get a manicure with dip powder and and pedicure with gel and it’s no extra charge. He kept asking me if I only wanted dip/gel or if I wanted a mani/pedi too. I was so confused because why would I want to put color on my nails without having them manicured first, but maybe some people do? In the end, this made my total much more than I have ever paid for a mani/pedi for my dip to only be cracking and falling off by a week. Not to mention I was there for what felt like forever. It’s a nice salon but you can find much cheaper/longer lasting options...
