I can’t recommend PIZZAYOLO enough! Davide’s pizzas are on another level, the freshness of the ingredients is obvious from the very first bite. The crust is perfectly light yet flavorful, and every topping feels carefully chosen. What really amazed me was the authenticity: the flavors instantly brought me back to Italy and gave me that sense of nostalgia you can only get from true Italian pizza. This is hands down the closest thing to being in a pizzeria in Italy without leaving San Diego....

So glad PizzaYolo is in SD! He makes delicious pizza with true Italian ingredients and I was also so excited to try his pasta! My favorite is his pasta with lemon pesto, I was pleasantly surprised as it’s not a super common pasta sauce to find in the US, so we lucked out.

The cool part is that he can cater wherever, for example we had a party right by the beach and we were eating fresh, warm pizza right by the water, you can’t beat that!...
