I purchased a doggie bed that was too small for my dog, so I kept the bed in my car for less than a week from the date of purchase. When I finally had the time to return it, with tags still on and in the condition I purchased it in, the manager Julie O., decided she would take that time to accuse and assume usage of the bed and the in capability to return the item.
I calmly explained the bed was too small for our sized dog, DUH! How did she expect us to find out the bed was too small without having our pup try it out when we first brought it home.
When did it become part of someone's job to question how items are or aren't used? Is this your definition of "customer service"?
When a consumer purchases an item, and it is deemed unsatisfactory to their needs and returns the item within the return policy outlined, that should be it, end of story. If I were to have bought pants, tried them on at home, and realized they were ugly and needed to be returned, there would be no questions. Except maybe, if anything was wrong with the item.
Next time Julie, maybe you should be an example to the team you lead. Maybe take a seminar on customer service. This TJ Maxx location has been beyond below a minimal standard for customer care for quite some time. Read moreI had a great time yesterday shopping in T.J. MAXX for the first time since the pandemic. I was glad to see the measures that had been taken to ensure shoppers' safety while in the store. The register operator with whom I purchased my items, was very cordial. He asked me if I was having a great weekend, and it was a pleasure chatting while I paid for my items. I found many reasonably priced items of clothing. There weren't many shoes that I was interested in, but I found 6 tops and one skirt and a pair of peachy pink jean capris. Nothing was over $12! I needed my shopping fix and was overjoyed to find...
