I booked Polina for a French hard gel set before my engagement dinner because BeautyZona's Instagram photos look amazing.

Unfortunately the actual service fell far short. She applied topcoat to only half of each nail before painting the French, then added a full topcoat on top—leaving a visible ridge across every nail. Additionally, there was not much done to prevent nail dust from being embedded into the polish so consequently, my top coat was full of small bumps from dust.

I politely outlined these issues afterward. Her response blamed the “design choice” and offered no meaningful resolution or refund, even though proper technique—not the design—caused the problems. Even if it were a problem of design, it should be the nail technician's responsibility to decline a design they cannot do. I attached photos of what I left with. The red circles show dust, and extremely blotchy French tips—even the top coat was not very shiny? The cuticle work was not up to expectation.

I ended up paying twice for one manicure for such an important event. Based on the quality of work and the way my concerns were handled, I can’t recommend this service.

Edit: The salon says Polina “just rents a chair,” yet she’s still bookable under “Employees” on BeautyZona’s Vagaro page. If she’s featured as staff, shouldn’t the salon vet her skills and uphold basic quality standards before promoting her and taking bookings through their site? I’m also quite disappointed that instead of any ownership of the bad job that was done under the roof of their salon, Polina was thrown under the bus and they refuse...

I recently had a wonderful experience at Beauty Zona, a Russian manicure studio that I can wholeheartedly recommend. The cleanliness of the studio is impressive, which is something I always look for in a nail salon. Plus, the location is very convenient.

The staff members are not only skilled but also exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure every client feels at home. After three years of visiting, I can confidently say their work is top-notch—my nails always look fabulous and stay perfect for weeks.

One aspect I particularly love is their private room for pedicures. It creates a serene atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. If you’re in search of a place for quality nail care in a welcoming and pristine environment, Beauty Zona is definitely...

Unfortunately I didn’t like the manicure that I got here. I was doing gel manicure and after a week or so the gel started lifting on several of my nails. Usually I have gel nails for couple weeks without any issues when I went to other places but this actually disappointed me, since I paid a lot for these simple gel manicure nails, no extensions, no special design and it cost me $100. Also originally I wanted red nail polish but the person doing my nails pushed me to do nude color. She started talking about how it’s trendy now to have short nude nails, but in fact I think she was rushing somewhere and needed to get the job...
