Cole Hardware (a.k.a. ACE Hardware) is a full hardware/"homeware" store. The compact size of the store is deceiving as it is jam packed with more than meets the eyes. The unique design, utilizing sliding walls and hidden cabinets, accommodates an abundance of fixtures, hook, clamps, nails and screws, tools and everything in between including a full scope of cleaning products, solvents, waxes and an impressive vacuum parts & solutions for all steamers ( including the specific steam cleaning solution for my 20 year old Hoover SteamVac. The housewares area is just as impressive. Plant supplies and decorative pots are available for the urban gardeners. I would be remiss for not mentioning the staff and their knowledge and coverage of the entire store. They are as eclectic as the store itself and incomparable with their ability to assist and direct customers to exactly what they're looking for with a friendly yet direct demeanor. It is with that approach that they are able to move traffic in and out of the store otherwise it would be a confusing frenetic jam of too many people in a very compact yet impressively well stocked urban...

I used to love coming to this location as it was convenient and the employees at the time were helpful, kind and friendly. However unfortunately this store has taken a turn for the worse. Thanks to an overly rude and judgemental gentleman who will follow you and attempt to sneakily observe you for what ever reason he may pick. I like to consider myself a decent human being, I don't shop ]]ft, steal, or even cause a ruckus. Yet he will still accuse you of theft without any proof other than his gut feeling. Then when you open your belongings willingly as being called a thief in front of other customers is degrading and embarrassing to say the least. When he is unable to find any items .
