Worse customer service I have experienced at a high end retail. They keep the customers outside without explaining why. The store only had one customer inside. I had called them beforehand to make sure they are open and they confirmed they are. Going there I was told by the staff at the door to wait outside. I assumed it was Covid related. After 10 minutes of waiting asked her what is the reason as I only saw one customer inside and she said it was a decision by manager and she doesn't know what the reason is. Worse than that this was my third attempt to go to the store. On Monday went there and someone inside told me they are remodeling and will be open. On Wednesday went there and there was a post mentioning the store will be open on Thursday. Today I called to make sure they are open and went there and they kept me outside for 10 minutes w/o any explanation. I would give 0 star if I could but seems like that is not an option. There was another man in the store well dressed in a suit which he gave 100% full attention and left after 20 minutes and never bought anything. Possibly because I was just wearing jeans, hoodie and Chuck Taylor's. The Sales clerk never said a word to me nor knowledge my presence. My partner and I was about to leave and finally Marie another sale clerk ask me if I needed help. After an hour or so, I purchased 4 pairs of shoes and two belts are being shipped to me. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the security guard—a beautiful Black woman who was incredibly kind. My sales associate, Marco, was an absolute delight. He offered me water and champagne while I waited for my purchase to be processed, making the experience feel truly special. He even went the extra mile by shipping my items to my family, who live two hours outside the city.
I sincerely hope San Francisco continues to rebuild and that businesses thrive with exceptional people like Marco on the sales floor. His outstanding service made my visit...
