Prepare to embark on an exhilarating culinary journey at House of Thai on Larkin! Our taste buds were spellbound by the authenticity and sheer deliciousness of every dish served. Trust us, you're in for a treat!

Our adventure began with a sip of the classic Thai Tea, which was the perfect blend of sweetness and richness, setting the tone for the culinary adventure that awaited us.

🍖 Ka Moo (Slow-Cooked Pork Leg): Brace yourself for a melt-in-your-mouth culinary masterpiece! The Ka Moo, slow-cooked pork leg, was a savory explosion that was a testament to the art of slow cooking.

🐟 Pla Nueng Ma Now (Steamed Golden Pompano): A showstopper dish that was as beautiful as it was delicious! This whole fish, steamed to perfection with garlic, chili, and lime, was a true culinary masterpiece that elevated Thai flavors to new heights.

🥦 Pad Ka na (Chinese Broccoli): This simple yet stunning dish showcased the chef's art of balancing flavors, making Chinese broccoli a delightful side that was a perfect complement to the other dishes.

🅿️ Convenient Parking; Metered spaces are conveniently located in front of the restaurant, so you can focus on enjoying your meal.

House of Thai on Larkin is a haven for foodies who crave authentic Thai cuisine. From Ka Moo to Pla Nueng Ma Now, every dish is a testament to the chef's dedication to delivering bold and flavorful Thai cuisine. Don't miss out on this culinary escape filled with authentic...

Tldr; Great servers, Quick Service, Good food!

Went here for dinner with family visiting from Australia, and we were all very impressed! I'd heard great things about the place from my boyfriend who is a frequent customer here, and I'm so glad I picked this place! The server did take a while to come to us to take our order, but that's probably because we were just talking, haha. The service was extremely quick though! I ordered the Chicken Pra Ram, which was steamed chicken breast, steamed veggies and peanut sauce. I went for the a la carte to avoid the rice and got requested extra veggies instead. I even asked them to give me only the green beans and drop the cabbage and carrots, and they were happy to comply. The dish came loaded with peanut sauce though, and when I asked the server if I could have the sauce on the side instead, he went and got me a new order without hesitation! Huge bonus points for that! There was a ton of chicken too though, and the combination tasted really nice. I barely used any peanut sauce, but it was pretty good! My family got the Shrimp Pad Thai and the a la carte Chicken Pad Himmaparn (kind of like cashew chicken), both on the spicier side, and they loved both items. They were surprised how the kitchen actually made the food spicy as they wanted, unline a lot of other places whose spice level was never up to the mark. They both really enjoyed the meal, as well as the wine they got. Great...

Don't order the seafood salad.

IMy friend from Thailand decided to take us here. We were debating between this establishment and Sai Jai around the area, but laziness trumped. Should have walked that extra block.

Ordered:

Tom Kha: Coconut soup with chicken breast. Chicken was overcooked and rough.

Larb: A bit salty. Lacked depth compared to the ones I've had at Lers Ros.

Thai Sausage: I'll admit I've never had it, so I don't have much to compare it to. Flavors were good and great with rice. Only gripe was that the sausage was a bit dry and the peppers and ginger served with the meal weren't cut finely to eat with the sausage. Whole peppers and inch long ginger pieces were on the dish. My Thai friend says they're meant to be small to compliment the sausage.

Seafood Salad: I had such high hope for this, and it was such a let down. Not only did the seafood not taste fresh, but it made us sick. Nothing is worse than old fishy seafood....and to make us sick is even worse.

Thai tea: Did the FB check in for this freebie. I probably can't complain on something that was given to me, but what the heck. It was overly sweet. I had to add most of my water to dilute it.

With so many Thai options in the area I'll gladly walk a few blocks more for something that's better tasting and food poisoning free. As for my Thai friend... He felt terrible for...

Ordered through door dash. The food was delicious, I really felt like the ingredients and aroma shown through; but the cost per portion was a bit on the pricier side. I'd say it's better and more unique than your average thai restaurant where all the staple dishes more or less taste the same. (Ordered the Tom Yum and Gang Dang (Red Curry)). Just a warning, the red curry at medium spice was way spicier than I expected. Either they messed up my order or they operate on TRUE Thai spice levels. I'm pretty good with southeast asian spice (Malaysian chinese background) so I still found it great, but I think the "medium" i had could be considered "very spicy" at other establishments.
