Kor Fit is a gem in San Francisco!
I generally hate working out, but I actually enjoy going to Kor Fit. The classes are tough in the best way—you always leave feeling like you’ve had a great workout, and I’m often sore the next day. I especially love the low-impact nature of the Barre style workout. It feels sustainable for the long term, not just something I can do while I’m young and have good knees! The workouts are approachable and judgment-free, making them perfect for any age or fitness level. It’s as challenging as you want it to be!
The instructors are welcoming, encouraging, and friendly, with just the right amount of sass. Jen, the owner, has truly created something special. There’s an incredible sense of community among the people who come to class—everyone is supportive and unpretentious, which makes working out actually fun. I’ve become so much stronger and more toned by attending regularly.

The varied exercises keep each class interesting, and the intense 50-minute classes literally fly by. The instructors are absolutely top-notch, and their passion, along with that of the clients, is truly infectious. The community at Kor Fit is friendly and welcoming, making every workout a positive experience I crave every day.
Even during the killer workouts where I think I'm going to die, the room's energy remains light & fun and helps me push through -- and, I do not die! ;) It does help that there's a disco ball that spins at the end (always makes me smile). Besides the workout and the people being just awesome, the space is vibrant, sparkling clean and bright with lockers, a changing room, a (super cute) bathroom, and tons of space in the studio. I can't recommend Kor Fit enough -- it's truly a gem...
Read moreI have been taking classes at KorFit for about two months now and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I was out of shape because of a knee injury, and unable to enjoy my regular exercise activities. I needed a low impact workout and tried KorFit because it was convenient. I walked into a cute studio full of friendly, diverse, and welcoming clients. I had never taken any kind of a barre class before, but the teachers are seasoned and encouraging as they explain each move (with modifications.) The 50 minute workout is hard, works almost every muscle, and goes fast! Best of all for me, I sweat and get my heart rate up with zero impact on my joints. In fact my knee barely hurts anymore as I have so much more strength to support it....
