We would put 10 stars if we could. For the six months our son has spent in L'Academy, our experience has been absolutely stellar. Director Myisia, teachers Sheryl, Katherine and everyone else at l'Academy are doing a wonderful job over there. The staff, the kids and the families are just fantastic.

The space is pristine, with tons of different activities of all kinds. The teachers speak english, spanish and chinese to the kids - our son has been picking up all three languages! We are getting multiple updates and photos throughout the day - you can see with each update how happy the kids are. They have built a great community of kids, and the staff is on top of every problem that may arise through the day. They have been very patient with our son, worked through his issues, followed our instructions, and went above and beyond. Kids eat well - every day we could see what our son ate for breakfast and lunch.

It is in the Tenderloin, but we never had any issue there and the space around the daycare is well maintained - also, during the day, they go to a super well maintained playground a few blocks away.

Our son now goes to pre-K but we are certain l'Academy has given him a very strong foundation. He was very well taken care of and we would recommend this...

Our daughter attended l'Academy on Geary Street for about 3 months and I definitely don't recommend this place (january 2023 to april 2023).

The team there is pretty unorganized, and they have no stability in their staff/directors. The director of the school changed 3 times in 3 months. It is very hard for babies/kids to feel safe in an unstable environment like this. The communication has always been hard (the teachers don't speak english), and the information provided on a day to day basis was not up to the expectation (even though they got better over the 3 months).

We even had some safety concerns a few times(that they took care of). There was no visibility on curriculum and what kids are learning, which is frustrating. It is very clean though, and the space is very big, and beautiful. They barely took the kids outside in those 3months.

Our son has been attending L'Academy CPMC for a few months now, and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are exceptionally thoughtful and create a warm and welcoming environment. The bond between our son and the teachers is evident, as they both light up with excitement during drop-off.

We appreciate the continuous updates we receive throughout the day, including information about naps, meals, and activities, complete with photos. The staff is always quick to respond via text, email, or chat.
