This is arguably the best mani-pedi I've ever gotten. All of the staff are very friendly and polite, and make you feel welcomed and cared about. They joke with you, encourage conversation between guests (when appropriate), and don't ignore you/only speak to each other.

Nancy did a wonderful job on my toes, helping me choose a color to match the gel chrome polish that I chose for my fingers. Nu was working on the lady next to me, and she also did a wonderful job! These people are willing to take requests from you to "file a little more there," try certain color combinations, or add massage time, etc. They're very flexible and never make you feel like you're a burden.

I got one of those gel chrome manicures, where they paint your nails with black gel, cure them, and then smooth on pigment powder and go over it with a top coat to give you a very shiny look. They got a bit of a rush right as my manicure started, so a couple people worked on my fingernails. In particular, Vanna did the gel on my nails and she did a wonderful job! Very meticulously cut, filed, and shaped my nails, then carefully applied the gel. It's not horribly thick, uneven, and even when I smudged it a bit she took time to fix it and you can barely tell.

Then Bambi, who seems to be the head honcho of the shop (her mother is the hostess and greets you as you walk in -- very nice lady, doesn't know a lot of English, if any, but is still super sweet), is going around doing the more advanced procedures on people's nails, including applying the chrome powder on mine. She accepts venmo payments, makes appointments, and checks people in. All while working, but makes no mistakes!

My only qualm is that the massage chair I was in was a bit uncomfortable, and my butt bones ached by the time I was done. But that might have just been the one chair.

All in all, wonderful manicure, reasonable prices, great customer service, pleasant location! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in SF and...

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I requested a short Gel X set, but during my service, I was unexpectedly switched between two different technicians without any explanation. The first technician clearly lacked experience with Gel X and had to repeatedly ask others for help. At one point, the second technician dropped her tools on the floor and, instead of using a new sanitized set, simply picked them up and continued working—an extremely unsanitary and unacceptable practice.

To make matters worse, she also dropped several Gel X tips on the floor and still glued them onto my nails. These tips, meant to last for a month, were contaminated, further compromising the quality of the service.

Additionally, I noticed that they do not properly sanitize their tools between clients. For instance, I saw them using the same nail clippers from one customer to another without any disinfection. Hygiene should be a top priority at any nail salon, and this blatant disregard for cleanliness is alarming.

Beyond the hygiene concerns, the overall service felt rushed. The technicians seemed more focused on finishing quickly rather than ensuring quality. They barely checked in with me throughout the process, and when I mentioned at the end that I was unhappy with the results, their response was simply to "come back next time and ask for it"—meaning I would have to pay full price again just to get the service done correctly.

I hate to leave bad reviews but honestly had a terrible experience here today. I have never had a bad pedicure before today. When I walked in, I was not greeted or welcomed, I was ignored for 15 minutes or longer until an employee began staring at me, and got another lady to finally talk to me. I explained I called and made an appointment and she told me to pick a color. I waited another 15 minutes past my appointment time until I was sat in a chair. I was told the massage feature didn't work .. so I was sat in a broken chair. The water was lukewarm and my nail tech did not pay attention while clipping my nails or ask any questions. She didn't ask what shape, or if I wanted a luxury or anything extra. I came in here planning to spend $70+ on a nice pedicure and treat myself. But the way I was treated I decided to just let them do the regular pedicure since they did not bother to ask. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, she insulted my color choice. They did not offer any assistance drying she really just walked away. I stood waiting for another 15 minutes to be rang up. I still tipped because I'm a decent human, but honestly wish I hadn't. The lady did not clean my nails well, I had to go home and do extra cleaning under my toenail. Important to mention I was the only person of colored skin in the shop, and the only one who seemed to get this treatment. The shop was not very clean, and they were not welcoming or nice at all.
