They have a huge dinner here monthly for homeless. It was delicious.our server, Yas we had a server, was so friendly and welcoming. We were the only table where all the trans women sat. Shockingly trans women are the most marginalized group within the homeless population but it was nice to be noticed. There's a line that starts one hour before doors open. My friend was verbally accosted by rude angry woman who rammed her bike into my friends leg. We sat in opposite dinning halls to avoid conflict on the suggestion from helpful staff member. I know this place through the monthly community dinner. All comers are welcome. It's a sit down affair, with table service, and a bit of piano music.

The emphasis is on respectful and compassionate service, and treating people with dignity. The amount of gratitude in the room is wonderful. The meals are filling, and fulfilling.

The Reverend Maggie, and the core people in this ministry, and cadre of volunteers are great. The guests are great, too. A very special experience, and a great way to spend the 4th Saturday evening...
